I am 35 and hated baking. I always got inconsistent results, bad more than good. I had heard weighing ingredients makes all the difference but I didn't think it could matter that much. About two years ago, I found your website and tried my first recipe; it was perfect. I tried it again and it came out perfect again. That was a huge turning point for me. I have made dozens of recipes from your website; I am SO grateful for the huge library of recipes you have created. I love sharing my baked goods with others, and they love to eat them! I always get lots of compliments, but really you should be recieving them. I'm just following what you have laid out. What a gift I have recieved from your work, to finally enjoy baking. I love to use almond extract in my butter cookies, in my opinion the flavor is the perfect combination. Back when my Momma got the recipe I use from her best friend she always used just the egg yolks in the cookies. She lightly whisked the whites and brushed the tops of the cookies before the last couple of minutes of baking. I generally just leave them as is or decorate with sprinkles at the most to let the natural flavors shine.

In some get-togethers one of my friend she is to bake cakes nd she learnt frm yu tube only...she was bringing for everyone in the party
Whenever i asked her how yu make which videos yu see on yu tube she was never sharing her recipes
But l also wanted to bake like her so when i started watching yur videos

Than I started baking
my cakes are more delicious than my friend now

So... I'm assuming these are the homemade version of what is sold in those tins as "Danish butter cookies". They look delicious! One thing I've never seen you make on your channel, that I would love to see is Baklava!
