I cried with the girl bc when I was 15-17 I was in high school during my 10th grade I realized I couldn’t afford attending the next years with dances, make up, dresses, pictures and trips I couldn’t take… I ended up convincing my mom to get my GED. Never went back to school due to not being able to pay or get grants. I’m married now and cared for but it always hurts me to think how different life would be if school was more of a priority in my youth.
Sounds like you gave up being a student and became a professor of Life & Reality !😮
Don't wonder about what could've been as you know and focus and what still can be. Wow you didn't lose you gained so much

Back when I lived in Tijuana, I used to have to ask for money in the street to pay a bus back home from school.
I finally started crossing the border from Tijuana to San Diego to get a good education. I'd wake up at 4am every morning to get to school on time, didn't come back home in Tijuana until 10pm.
It's shocking to see how much people take for granted what they have; free lunch, free sports uniforms, free sports equipment, a football field, a track, tennis courts, classrooms with AC, clean drinking water, computers with internet, etc.
I'm grateful for these videos because they remind us to be thankful for what we have. It's easy to forget.
Really enjoyed seeing the update on the shelter, it’s coming along nicely! Also seeing an update on the other family’s stand was great. It’s wonderful to see them prospering!
It really was sooo motivating for the team as well. To get to see their progress was awesome.

How do they pay for the electricity for those appliances?
Education is iportant for the children to break that poverty cycle. There is nothing wrong with their house it is big enough, they just need wardrobes and drawers for tthe clothes, a little reorganisation will make a difference. The big difference would be providing your own income, and maybe a doctor's visit at a local hospital to find out what is wrong with the mother, she doesn't look thin or physically debilatated.
Shes currently in treatment for her ailments. We totally agree with you, education is key in breaking the cycle of poverty.
