I just got one, linkage horns are POS, one broke in the first fly by itself putting my in a roll dive of death. Stupid idea putting all the linkage exposed underneath in a belly lander
Thankyou, I fastened the battery in with velcro, and the recommended cog was a bit forward, nose heavy, so i put the battery back as far as it could go and it was perfect.

Awesome plane and great piloting. I have the Macfree F22. Think the F22 is one of the best looking planes out there. Gotta give you props you went from a grass covered field to rocks boulders and trees. Go big or go home 👍. Think this will be my next plane.

no, i don't think the missing pilot has got to do with that company. my local shop sells one without the pilot as well.. probably another version..good vid btw!
Those little guys are hard to see! especially with many of the color schemes being designed to be as hard to see as possible. The newer versions of these planes all seem to come with a gyro, which should help if used properly. I have my trainer switch set to auto level mode in case I lose orientation, it will at least for sure level out. These small jets have absurd roll rates if you don't tone it down with your transmitter
better to get the kit version and get a 50mm 4s capable EDF unit then? did you get v2 with the 2 axis gyro? what's the max size 3s/4s lipo you could fit in it? thank you
I think the model looks cool, but horrible idea to link the aileron surface with elevators.... There is a thing called spoilerons which have a greater impact than flaps, so I don't think the plane can climb efficiently. It would be better off to have elevons just on the elevator surface. I made a mod to mine, separate surfaced, and the whole horizontal stabilizer pivots for realism.

I got one of these jets. The quality is actually pretty nice and the paint looks pretty good for a 69$ plane. But using the stock motor and esc it is almost impossible to get it flying. I threw it hard, soft, under and over hand. It just flies over the grass for about a hundred feet and slides to a stop. I raised all my throws to 100% and yanked down elevator and no dice. I saw your xt60 plugs is that a stock esc or did you just solder xt60 plugs on the stock esc? What battery are you using? The few times I got it flying it was pretty fun, agile and quick, easy to land. I'm going to upgrade to a XRP fan with an 11 blade fan
+JustCruisinGT I crashed this jet on my maiden, it was my mistake, lost orientation, but other than that it has flown like a boss, powerful, and sharp....the problem has got to be in your setup somewhere..

Also, did the suggested CG/COG in the manual match your comfort in flight? Being unable to find out such information since your open-box video, could you fill me in with those data, please? This is not v2, no gyro, added my own. Wouldnt use 42 cuz it interfers with intake. it comes with the edf unit 50mm, but it wouldnt hurt to upgrade, i put a wemo in mine, and now it screams.

I'm confused as to which way stabilizers are installed. You seem to have it opposite as to the picture shown on box. Also I read one another video you telling someone their stabilizers are backwards, but it seems like that's the same way you have them. I'm not being sarcastic, I just want to know what's right. I'm a noob.
Look guys, these jet are great when you buy them in "KIT" format, put in your own power system and they will fly great, if you buy them stock RTF "Ready to Fly" you are wasting you damn money. I promise you that, I have been through enough of them to know and I will never do it again, I buy the body, do some research and install my own ducted fan unit, ESC and motor combo and they will go like a bat-outta-hell.
jets are new to me m used to getting 7-8 minutes with a warbird. but what I did fine out there are 3 versions of motors for this F22 one takes a 3S 1800mah now if I should want to up that to a 4S 2200mah would it burn out or just go faster
Banana hobby beat me for the pilot. They are a very welfare company so they always give you something other than what you ordered lol. It flies great tho on 1000mah. Glad you liked my orange tape job lol.
The rocks and dirt pile flying field is perfect.

You should fold your antenna dude. You'll have a better signal. Great job an the repairs and re-maiden!

Yes and no, it will slow way down, but doesnt have stock power enough to alpha for more than a second or two.

Wide angle lenses are not good. You had a woman with you. You could've used her as the cameraman.
