I tried your recipe again and it came out way better this time! My milk wasn't heated enough the first time, thank you so much for this delicious recipe!
Its so interesting to see how simple you can make your daily products and its fresh and you know whats exacly in it! Yess love it ! Keep sharing and teaching us. ❤
Aww you're welcome Ama! Haha I know, it's crazy how simple some things are to make! It's really encouraging to see you guys find my tutorials helpful, thanks hun 💚
I'm not vegan but this recipe is perfect for me because I have multiple food allergies 😄. I'm allergic to dairy, nuts, eggs, soya, sesame and a few more, so I love how this recipe is easy to substitute everything 🙏🏽 Gonna try this but with oat or rice milk, thank you❤
As a Taiwanese, a hot soy milk with white vinegar and add on some savoury sauce is our breakfast! The part to wait it turns chunks is the most interesting part on the table. Now it can turn into a 🥯 Cream Cheese. I m not surprised! So highly recommend everyone who love this recipe to try a taiwanese savoury soy milk dish!
The worst part about whole foods Is realizing the hard work needed to prepare food properly. It's definitely humbling. One of the most real experiences of my life.
Thank you for this! My daughter has EOE and is allergic to dairy and we need alternatives. I myself have a nut allergy so the nut options are out. Can't wait to try it!!

I tried the yogurt version and I cant believe how easy and how well it actually turned out. I used Culina brand yogurt since its pretty thick and doesnt have much liquid to drain out
This video was extremely helpful. I've been looking for a vegan cream cheese recipe to make vegan cheesecake because where I live, vegan cream cheese is WAYY too expensive. Thank you so much!
Great, I make my cream cheese by straining my homemade soy yoghurt too! 🙂 The second recipe is more like a soft tofu as it's made from soy milk. I love the additions of herbs and spices too! I would recommend adding the chives after blending it, so that you still have the lovely chive pieces in tact 😉 Such a nice made video, well done!
I mean I guess it is like a soft tofu but the cooking method is the same as dairy cream cheese, soy milk and soy in general is cool like that, the proteins are able to coagulate and mimic diary proteins so similarly, it’s my go to milk for vegan/dairy free substitutes, the other ills work but just don’t hold up as well in certain recipes, like in this one, they wouldn’t make good cream cheeses
I made this today (and made Bagels too, just had to 🤣) and it turned out fabulous! Soy milk being low in fat naturally, I thought it would be dry and crumbly but the blending really did the magic. Ah the gloss and the creamy, silky texture of the cream cheese is divine! I've already downed 2 bagels lol and have also separated some to make a cream cheese frosting later. Thanks for this simple easy recipe 🥳

Adding more liquid to the yogurt after draining out the liquid is what made the texture more like a crème fraîche than cream cheese. You can either mix the vinegar and the salt into the yogurt before straining it or leave the vinegar out altogether; you do not need any vinegar because the yogurt already has the tartness from being cultured :) That is what I do whenever I can't find plain vegan cream cheese at the market and it works perfectly. Good luck :)
