My favorite blue dial on any watch ever. One of these days ill pick up this exact 1521. The little pop of orange on the minute hand is perfect in my opinion.
@@RSSpecIt really is a shame. I bought a 1545 from Marc at LIW a few months ago and ending up selling it. Great watch but looks wise it just did not scratch the itch that i have for the Ocean Blue 1521 with the polished case. He does have a Zodiac with a blue dial that i love for a great price though. I think that will be my next pickup, i really love the brand.
I have a black Zodiac Super Seawolf Pro Diver I bought from Marc a year ago for $1700. For the price even considering the Squale price increase I find the 1521 a better watch and value myself compared to the Zodiac. But I do love the Dial and Handset on my Zodiac. Zodiac has a great history though just as Squale does. Either one is very cool!
@@RSSpec There have also been a lot of issues with the STP 3-13 movement Zodiac uses which they are now transitioning back to the STP 1-11. They are definitely expensive but luckily the model i bought which has an MSRP of $1,300, i was able to snag during one hell of a sale for $749 and i couldn’t pass it up. The entire watch is DLC and the dial is textured and reminds me of fresh poured asphalt. Zodiac absolutely has undeniable history but like you said Squale does also, if not more so since they made the cases for Blancpain and other companies and have a ton of heritage all around. Two of my favorite dive watch brands, but i do appreciate how Zodiac also offers options that are a little more playful and fun.
Zodiac definitely more daring with their crazy color combinations! Even though I went with the conservative all Black Pro Diver the Dial and hand set is awesome with the pop of the Orange minute (❤️) hand and the kinda Seafoam color indices. I almost went with the black and blue one…. And how could we not like the infamous connection to the Zodiac Killer in the Bay Area! Certainly not condoning serial killers but just another spec of Zodiac watches!
Mines been on order from Italy since April. I'm.told it's due to arrive tomorrow 🎉
Congratulations! You’ll love it!

Couldn’t agree with you more! Shame they have gone up in price!
