Honestly, 145USD for a rubber strap is quite bonkers.
So is buying a mechanical watch in 2024 over a smartwatch but here we are.
@@0xDankberg for sure mate, but i was more into comparing apples to apples. You could get a similar (or dare I say the same) flourorubber-strap for a fraction of the price. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Delugs 1st- & 2nd-tier supplier are pumping out same stuff for other brands.
That’s awesome. I was looking at these straps for my new deepstar ii. Thanks for making this video
Thanks for watching! This strap is definitely perfect for the Deepstars😃
The watch is handsome enough and with that strap 😍
i hope they do a waffle textured for their cats strap as the plain textured is abit plain for dive & sports model
I agree that they should offer some variants with more texture!
VERY HELPFUL REVIEW THANKS
Just got one for my Santos Dumont
Nice! I have two laying for a Santos medium that I want😅
How has it worked after 1 year and a half?
How secure does the clasp feel?
Very very secure :)
Thank you✌🏼 very helpfull
These seem wildly overpriced … appreciate this video because it convinced me not to buy one. I love Delugs and their products but this doesn’t seem up to par like their other straps. I wish they’d just make a proper rubber strap for dive watch with a tang buckle.
$ 145.00 a pop I don't think so
Look cheap.
Does not feel cheap at all in person
Yup, that strap has no character at all. I'm gonna pass on this.
Explain it please
@@MKGamingInvesting I thought I was pretty straight forward expressing my personal opinion on it. Are you offended that I don't like it? 🙄🤷🏻♂️
@@Tom_H327 No I just want to know what makes you feel it has no character...the minimalistic design?🤔
@@MKGamingInvesting The clasp seems to be the most interesting. The silicone looks cheap and boring like it belongs on a smart watch.
@@Tom_H327 Yeah, 145$ really seems a little too much for the silicone
I recommend using a flat 'window scraper' razor to cut straps. Way to easy for scissors to walk off line and ruin your $95 Sinn strap (for instance).
That is a very good point, thank you!
What about a kitchen knife? Would that would in a similar fashion for cutting this strap?
Use a razor sharp knife only tbh
I think the CTS strap is decent for the cost but would have been happy to pay more for a much better clasp i.e. no sharp edges and polished steel, along with pulling less hairs.
How was the transaction on the aquastar? I’m looking to get one. Thanks 🙏
I own a Norwegian online retailer who recently became dealers for Aquastar, so that is why I have one. I really love the watch!
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Dude stop moving the watch. You can’t see 💩
hello I was wondering how much the ends of the strap measure at loved the video
Use a box cutter for the love of god…
What millimeter width is the clasp connection
16mm. It is 18mm on the 22mm strap :)
Thanks!
Wtf is going on??? 😅😂
?
Does the clasp open in a random fashion by itself? Or does it stay intact?
It stays intact and feels very secure :)
