Thank you so much for this video. Simple, concise and factual. I was stuck trying to find a solution to turning off the twilight mode, on my cars headlights, which was turned on accidentally! I looked in the owners manual, and the workshop manuals, only to end up extremely frustrated. Every where I looked I drew a blank, until I came across your video. Watched it once went to my car, replayed the video and followed it verbatim, and presto problem solved. Your blood is worth bottling!
Great video thank you. So that I could remember the instructions, I transcribed your instructions to take outside to use the written instructions rather than try to remember them or take my computer to the garage. Upon listening (several times), I thought that I could do that! Unfortunately, after many try's it just will not come back to the odometer upon the completion of step 2 at video time 39 sec. Here is the transcription, that I checked and checked to make sure I took down the instructions correctly: 1. IGNITION ON- STARTING ENGINE NOT NECESSARY 2. USE RESET TO CLEAR ALL NOTIFICATIONS: DOOR AJAR, HATCH AJAR ETC - BRINGS BACK TO DIC DISPLAY 3. HOLD DOWN OPTIONS BUTTON 4. PUSH FUEL BUTTON 4 TIMES BRINGING DIC INTO DIAGNOSTICS 5. PUSH ANY BUTTON ONE MORE TIME TO BRING DIC INTO MANUAL DIAGNOSTICS NOW YOU VIEW COMPUTER MODULES IN ORDER. IF DISPLAY SAYS "NO CODES" ON THE FIRST ECM, PUSH OPTIONS TO CYCLE THROUGH MODULES/CODES 6. WITH MODULES SHOWING CODES PUSH GAGES, AND CLEAR CODE BY PUSHING RESET. CODES MAY BE DELETED SINGLY OR CLEAR ALL AT UPPER FOLDER 7. TO EXIT DIAGNOSTICS PUSH ENGLISH METRIC BUTTON 8. DIC RETURNS TO ODOMETER READING Many thanks
is there a code or a way to reset headlight motor on drivers side,I changed motor, brand new one works when i test it,but wont pop up on car when i turn the headlights on,Thanks
Hey thanks for the insight. It says "no comm" for every single module it cycles through. I thought it was the ECM/PCM (they started calling it the PCM in 2004) but my mechanic tried a new ECM and had a GM Tech try and program it using the TECH 2 software and still could not communicate with it. It's now been in the shop for a month and a half. Now the dealership has it and they still have not figured it out.
Question: If they are old codes, or not a actual problem the codes won't come back, but if you have a actual issue the codes will come back again correct? Or does clearing the codes get rid of them period? (I have one for a wheel Bearing and it's setting off my ABS & traction system warnings)
Mine does not say "no codes" or provide any codes but instead says "no comm." Does this mean no communication? Any idea why it would say this? The car will turn over but not start, it has a brand new battery.
does that mean you have a lot of problems with your vette?? I barely ever get a code and its "H". so I don't have any worries so far. thanks for the lesson

Short and sweet. Thanks! 😏
Awesome thank you for sharing this knowledge
Yes it will show you active codes. If you clear the code and you have an actual problem that code will report back as soon as it comes back.
Thanks :)

Did you figure it out bc mine is doing the same thing and I have tried and replaced most of suggestions
@@sethbeatty yeah it ended up being a bad ground wire. Not sure what specific one.
Thanks for the video mann. Worked perfect..

Found out my own answer today, Go ahead and clear all your codes, if you have a actual issue (or a bad sensor) the code will come back
Cool going to try that as soon as I can on my 2000
My right panel is dead. Any ideas?

Yes that means no communication.
My car 97' Corvette is reading QC 414111......what does that mean. I have looked through the codes and nothing comes up.
