@@Ozem_Israel the comment implied it was in plain sight. For reallllllll.
I went to school 😊 We used 12,000lb set mortar with silica on the finish layer 1/8”+\- for the detail and added fiberglass reinforcement to the base layer.
Finished product 1/2”-3/4” thick & sounds hollow. Pack inside with 2-3” mortar to achieve “solid”. Eliminated hollow sound and obvious strength. Columns, mailbox posts, cover stones, water falls, fountains,

The school did a feature for a zoo back East. Styrofoam interiors came on a flatbed semi 8x10x40’ lol carved to shape, fiberglass mesh surface, mortar layer, finish layer with sheet rock texture gun using silica. Stain for desired look. 👍🏼
nice. do you have a blog on that or something?
@ no blog. I’ve just done a ton & glad to share. 😎
It's even fooled the moss that's living on it too!🤣
"i pushed the rock and it started to move"
**stone talus theme plays**
OMG I was thinking the same exact thing
I SAID THE SAME THING LMAOO
I've been looking for something to hide an old well pipe in my yard!
This is it!
Thx
You can get fake rock well pump covers from Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, etc. I think it's kinda funny because these things have been around forever.
Just out for a random valve box stroll and something told him to jiggle the little rock and it moved, so long story short, the realtor or previous owners never showed him were his septic tank valve box and filter were. Not even the inspector. Amazing and happens all of the time.
The rock started to move:

Am I not good enough for you, because you found a shiny Geodude? Proceeds to cry and then faint for another 30 years 😂.
"It's not a Boulder, its a rock"
"I understood that reference."
Its not a mistake it's a masterpiece
How you know people were fooled for 30 years if you've only lived there a couple of months🤔🤔🤔🤔
You won the internet
It's well maintained under a rock that's been "fooling people for 30 years." Someone is lying and it ain't the valve box cover.
You must be fun at parties 🤨
I think he means that was when the company who made the rock was operating from. So the rock could be 30 years old
Because the rock had a date tag said 30 years old
The best way to hide your supplies in an apocalypse
I’ve used these faux-boulders to disguise utility piping, pump housings, etc They’re a fairly common landscaping option
First time I saw one was for covering up a DTV satellite dish. Now they are used for sprinkler pumps
Very well done. I thought I was watching a video, until I realized I just watched an advertisement 😂 You fooled me!
“I was looking for a valve box”, so I checked the rocks in my backyard, yeah I believe you buddy.
Yea like he never noticed the vent on the side of the "rock" hahaha
Yeah it is a nice fake rock but no shot he just noticed it
@@gallihyde The vent faces the large rock, Keep in mind I have been here 2 months.
@@SilverCymbal You're still lying. Obviously...
@@SilverCymbal i dont care if its an add or not. I learned something new and found out about a new product i might need in the future
My dad used to make rocks for displays in museum. He was the Oakland Museum's first rock guy back in the late 60s. When we were little, my brother and I had foam rocks we could throw at each other. They looked so real.
He's been in his house for a couple months.. yet the caption says rock fooled people for 30 years. The company might have started 30 years ago, but the rock was probably made two years ago and put in place by the last owner.
Real wisdom . Not even fraudulent wisdom. This comment is one in a thousand observations that is well worth the twelve thumbs and every other thumb not even added to this fact since the jokes started arriving beneath the septic tank rock.
@@jackrichards1863 yup.. Also can i just point out things have got so bad we are now willingly watching videos of a rock we know are like 20secs long 🤦♂️send the asteroid 🤣
The fake rock does look like it's been outside for awhile, so possibly more than two years.
“It’s not just a boulder… it’s a Rock”
it's a large boulder the size of a small boulder

I’m 33 years old and my eyes got watery reading this thanks for a great memory lol
"I've been in this house for a couple of months"
Caption: this rock fooled everyone for more than 30 years
It’s because he said the fake rock is about 30 years old, although he’s been at his house for a few months.
The previous owner probably knew all about it, that filter has been changed not too long ago
I guess text interpretation isn't your forte. It's ok though
Yeah, the plastic pipe didn't look 30 years old. He's lying.
Doesn't say more
