- Intense 2 vs 1 male lion fight over territory at Kruger National Park as The new Lion Kings refuse to give up their land and takes revenge on an old enemy. But the old lion bravely fights with honour until the end in my latest Kruger wildlife sighting

This is NATURE. It's harsh and brutal. You say they wouldn't film an animal when it's sick and dying but they're filming an old lion losing his pride to 2 new youngsters. That's got to be the lowest moment in this lion's life. He'll probably never attain that status and security again and will probably die a sad and lonely death before too long.
@@dangerdan2592 and? When several well known lions were down due to injuries they won't show that particular lion as part of the coalition until he either gets better or goes off and dies. At 1.11 the old lion gets back to his feet, and again goes to take on the young males again in one last stand. As the young lions retreat just for a second, knowing they are victorious the old king is ready to take them on again. The heart and fight off a lion can not be matched . What beautiful beasts

a darker maned lion is usually the stronger, healthier lion so given how dark the old males is compared to the two younger males, I'd say he'd wipe the floor with them both in his prime

The old lion's courage and determination are worthy of respect and I think the younger males sensed that in the end....
Respect goes out to that old male lion. He was tore the hell up, yet he boldly kept fighting. Male lions have a sense to fight till their very last breath, and this old boy showed it.

A lion would rather die no other way. They are conditioned for this. It probably took them 2 hours just to get this warrior to this point. Plus they're hurt too. Once that adrenaline wears off they both will be limping.

It's not as black and white as that, 90% of the time the losing lion flees just like any other animal weighing up how to preserve its life, usually the run if out gunned before it even gets physical.

The old lion fights because its his nature. Lions shows and have no fears. They hunt everything. From Giraffe to buffalos three times their size, to crocodiles to snakes. Absolutely no fear. That's all they know to survive. Hunt. Love looking at these majestic beasts in action.

Animals don't get judged by their peers for running for their lives because they're not human. They lose many children to wars between them and hyenas. There's no place for that in nature it will only get you killed.

It's just the game of numbers. The one who finally took the beating had one of the young lions in his jaws (you could hear the young one weeping) and this gave the other young lion to get up and grab him by his spine.
