I know all the comments are 4 yrs or older at this point but I just bought a 2016 imprezza limited and it's a great commuter car. I'm in st. Louis so can't wait to test out the rain and snow with the AWD
How many miles were on it if you don’t mind me asking? I just looked at and test drove a used 2015 Subaru Impreza hatchback sport limited with 99k mileage but wanted to see if that’s worth it
@@KatiesRockingOut 60k miles.. I plan to keep if for at least 2 years and maybe trade it in for something else. I hear Subaru has some parts that can go out like the catylac converter or head gaskets but once repaired a lot of things generally don't go wrong. Also there are a lot of TH-cam channels just for Subaru and they say that most of the issues were on older Subaru models and not the semi-newer to new. My dad's been a mechanic for 30+ years and he was glad I bought a Subaru.

@@KatiesRockingOut I used to search cars all the time by checking Cars.com, Car Gurus, Vroom, Carvana, and Autolist. Using these apps or sites you can literally search that exact car and see what it's asking price is (or in the case of Carvana or Vroom what it's selling for). For instance, I just searched Cars.com for used Subaru Imprezza and I found a 2013 Imprezza with 77,000 miles selling for about $12,000 (I'm in Missouri. The prices are likely very different in your area depending). This is a good way to compare. After searching and checking, I then went to the most popular dealer in my area and honestly was looking for used Mazdas at the time. They had a 2016 Imprezza on the lot for a steal of $14,000. I'd seen similar models go for about $16,000. I did it the smart way I think as I didn't go to a small dealer. Big dealers will sell you a warranty with the car to get it serviced throughout the country as long as it's by a certified mechanic (a lot of dealers offer this type of thing. Some differ). I'd try to buy from a big dealer in your area for that reason if possible.
@@salzerilli4789 thanks! It’s a Subaru dealership that I went to today & im going back tomorrow. It’s a 2015 98,724 mileage and they want to sell it for 14,500 but it’s retailing for 12,000. It has leather interior, navigation system, heated seats, sun roof, etc
They should put the WRX engine in this body.
they should make a engine bigger than this but smaller than the wrx like a 1.6 turbo 185hp or something

This is not a wagon, it's a hatchback. Outback is a wagon. Impreza doesn't have wagon proportion, if you call this a wagon, then VW Golf is a wagon too.
They are both wagons in my book.

VW Vehicle Reliability is in the toilet and always has been. There current reputation and there Cust. Service have the same value as a 3 dollar bill. Don't believe it, buy a VW, you'll find out the hard way. Your uninformed comparison to the new 2017 Subaru Impreza has know real credibility.
This is a Crosstrek w/o steroids. Dan, I wonder how this compares to the new breed of cute-utes?
