I picked one up because they were on sale for $30. Wow, was not expecting such performance from such a budget option! Very impressive, hopefully they hold up over time.
What’s up brother, been a while. Just picked up a drk and the 160+ esc for stock drag slash upgrade. They’re racing at don garlics next weekend. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with this option motor, it’s a far site cheaper than the choice I picked.
It's powerful with alot of current draw. My goal was 65mph in 132" using a Dr10M here, so it is easy to reach that goal with this car and motor. I have RTR Dr10 with the Slingshot 4.5T and it hit 63mph in a 132" with it(that takes alot with rear motor and plastic chassis to do)I like the 4.5T better then the 3.5T. The 3.5T is a beast! Still using the Slingshot 4.5T the the rtr DR10 and still can't go passed 3/4 throttle and using just over half is needed.
@@johndavidson402 thank you for the help! I'm putting it in a awd car it's a 4tec me and my friend are building and were trying to get it as fast as possible we ordered the motor earlier today were excited to see what it can do
Awesome, yes 4wd will make it alot easier to handle the power! Watch the heat in the motor it gets hot fast. On my Redline 6100mah 130c shorty pack after a burn out and a good hit the battery is ready forca charge. Let me know how it does!

How big of an esc does this need? 150 enough?
