We purchased this online from Costco and are assembling it today! It is raining out today so we have assembled it indoors. They changed the handle😏I like the handle you have😊Thank you for the video as I am a visual learner but the instructions are pretty straight forward👍🏻
Mom fell in love at Costco with this, got it for $190 Canadian plus tax. Easy assembly, but handle was different than video. Agree with Julie Hirschi, one in video looks much better and durable. Read reviews saying you have to be wary of it rusting and warping. I bought an medium size BBQ cover that will protect it for about $40. Baked a total of 3 pizza's on our first attempt, came out superb. Just have to be careful of which type of wood you use; I recommend Fruit wood (apple/cherry), and went and bought some wood chips as well. Smoke will come out from the sides, but unit cools down quite fast. Did not see any warping as of yet. Do not use any charcoals, or any chemical starters from what I've read. Looking to put this to use this summer for a lot of family BBQing.
Best barbecue fire pit combo I’ve ever had. Lights easily and evenly cooks. I do however need a replacement cast grille, but am unable to find one as my where. Options if anyone can advise?
I wrote this on another blog but I will paste it to yours also: I gave thumbs up for your video but this unit needs a lot of work. For $129 it’s a good price but if one has never swept a chimney or an oil fired furnace this is not for them. I just purchased and used mine yesterday and I don’t think that I will ever use the grill because of the oil trap a the bottom of the pan would get clogged with the burning settled ash causing a forever candle effect. I’m keeping it because I hope to place a 5’ chimney stack instead of the flame arrester which is also a soot magnet. I’ve never used a shop vac on a fire pit but this one needed it. If you want to learn how to be a chimney sweep get this. It’s not as hot as the open fire pits unless the front screen is left open and the person in front of the screen will tell you it’s too hot, good concept but one would have to pay about $900.00 to get one with all the quirks removed. But for me $125 plus me doing some “BackYardJackofAllTrades” upgrades I hope to make it work like a $2,000 fire pit.
Helpful video, thank you! We bought this several weeks ago and used it yesterday for the first time, the handle came off and we can't make it stay on! We used wood as the the directions stated not to use charcoal and it burned the outside of the meat very fast but never cooked inside, we ended up finishing in the microwave, so far I would not recommend it but will try it out again and update review should it work better and if we get the handle to stay put.
There are 3 levels to adjust the cooking grill, sounds like you likely had it too low or your fire was too large if it was at the top level and still cooked too fast. Same issue would happen with any standard grill. Not sure what is up with your handle though. If you got it from Costco like me, they would gladly swap it out if you had a defective handle.
Assembled ours this week and had a wood fire, was suprised that it says not to use charcoal, which I was not aware of when I purchased. Has anyone used charcoal and seen any reason why it is not possible or what risks are?
Hi there. I saw this at Costco today and was debating on getting it. Could you please let me know your feedback on how it worked out for you. Long term.. did it last for you? Quality? Thanks
Great video thanks! Outdoor cooking 💕 can't wait to buy and try!

Good video. Just finished assembling mine after sitting in my garage for 5MOS. Looks great, looking forward to entertaining with it.
LOL! Mine was in the garage for about as long, and I just assembled it.

So how do you like it? Did you cook something already? Do you think it can be used with charcoal?
Just lower the cooking platform.
Yes. We use ours with charcoal. Because of the size it is a bit hungry for fuel. But excellent in every way.
Good video just bought my own today looking forward to setting it up
Andrew Howie how’s the quality. Think it will burn thru fast? And how much did you pay?

Mine is still in good condition with rust only on the fire pit as expected
Mine is still in good condition with the fire pit the only rusty bit
It's now 3 years since you bought it - has it rusted? Is it still useable?
It does have some rust on the spark mesh but nothing serious, the fire basin is the worst as all ways but is still solid the rest is still very good
puis je mettre kit ethanol?
Nice
What grill cover do you recommend?
We went for a lahacienda model. Works well. Only issue is the decorative finial on top wares through the cover.
Walter White?
