Pretty cool to see my Hourglass III featured at 7:28 You really need to get a winder and rubber lubricant so you can put more power in the rubber motor. Hand winding like that will only get you 25% of the plane's potential.
Cool. I could build that type of plane with no kit at all. I used to build Balsawood planes back in the late 60s early 70s. Gliders too! Spruce and Balsawood were my best friends when I was a kid! 😁
Great video. And I especially thank you for the lesson it wing building. I tried cutting and glueing the plastic sheets together. Its like doing neurosurgery after drinking a gallon of coffee.
In my young time, we made this plane use tube from grass. Happy times from Ukrainian childhoods! Cover film made when you putt to the water tiny layer of varnish (capon varnish). After dry we have ultra tiny cover film and use sugar sirup to fix film to frame!
Great works. It seems to be very difficult to make. In Korea, competitions are make mainly at schools with rubber-powered planes called “고무동력기”. I can still buy it for 4,000 won (less than $4) and it's very easy to make.
7:30 - The plane shown inside right there is a “Microfilm Plane”, which is much harder to build and transport. But still cool video. Cool project! Brought back some memories for me.
Yeah, was going to mention that too. It is the F1D category (as per FAI classification). The microfilm was always very tricky to make and apply (fun with nitro lacquer with addons :) )
i have to wonder about the commenters saying this model is difficult or complex to build, i have built a few Oraldoo Thunder 3/32 scale radio controlled vehicles that are orders of magnatude more complex and difficult to finish
This is very well done! The videography is very good. And you did a great job of building the plane! You must have spent some time balancing and trimming the plane, but you did not show that. Good job! Thanks! :)
...oh, I want one!...I think I've wanted one of them all my life!...I'm gonna get one, catch a six-pack of Monarch butterfies and then train them to ride it, to keep it flying!...a smashing post...thank you!...
The curve isn’t for aerodynamics it’s for creating lift because if you had a flat wing it has good aerodynamics, but it creates less lift, then if you used an airfoil like shape.
If I recall correctly, which is happening less and less often, the WWI Spad biplane had flat wings with rather small positive angles of attack. And some of the Russian Farman-type biplanes had curved (front-to-back) single-surface wings. All of the structure was bamboo, and the wings were single slabs of linen. And, just guessing, their power-to-weight ratios may have been comparable to a five gram, rubber band powered plane!
more distance from centre means more distance covered by the props means more air displaced per rotation and less torque from the rubber band which makes it last longer and fly further. But yes your idea would work if you wanted to just make it faster
l'aereo lo costruii moooolti anni fa usando il BALSA , chiodi in FERRO che fermsvano il motore, un elastico e fogli in PVC --- funzionò una sola volta e l'apertura alareera di un m x ala
Thank you for showing me never to buy this you can go to any local pharmacy in America and go to the children's fiction and buy one almost built 4. Or 5 Parts total 🎉 PS been making me since I was a child never this hard
When I took it off the branch, the wing came off, but I'll fix it))
Oh ok but can you try to make a homemade model of it.
Do you have a link to the place you bought it? Looks super cool
kámo a já jsem si myslel že natáčíš jen v česku a že tvoje videa jsou nedoceněná a ty máš na En kanále 2 mega ty kráso :D
I am very honored to know that your cat is still alive I saw him. He was growing up now i'm back it's been a very long time
He'll fix it
You should take the plane to an indoor court where there is no wind, then it can fly much longer without crashing
He noted that in the video
06:55 he mentioned it and how he fix it
It's not an outdoor plane.
Pretty cool to see my Hourglass III featured at 7:28

NO WAY!! i'm SUCH a big fan!! how come this comment isn't more popular??!!
Hand winding could also damage the prop shaft
Lol, I got excited when I first saw the plane. "I want to do this!"
3 minutes later "There's no way I could do this."
Congratulations! Nice build and great patience! Flies great.👍🏼
Your videos are pure satisfaction

Love you slivkishow from India ❤️
Another epic video thanks man
Great demonstration. Thank you.
Simply....wow!
Don't forget to use glue. 😄👍💯

Your skill and patience is incredible. This is not something I would attempt myself but I enjoyed your video because it was so relaxing
It takes lots of efforts to make this plan which breaks within 2-3 flights
I love all things flight!
Я случайно наткнулся на этот канал я смотрю основонй
Wholesome video 🤗🤗, thank you very much
👍👍👍👍 Very fun video
Want to see your hamster it's bin long day without you my friend
bro's content fire everytime
For those of you who do not know, baking soda and liquid glue mixed together make a very strong bond.
Misting it with water will also make it cure extremely fast
N i C e 👍
Awesome! You have great patience with your model. I’m glad it works as well as it does!
That was pretty neat!
Atleast you tried to make such things come true....
It's also a good reason to receive the good comments from the people like us...
so satisfying
Almost at 2 million subscribers can't wait
I am NOT patient enough to build that. xD
It's intended for indoor flight only, like a big gymnasium. If flown outdoors, a slight breeze will break it.😊

havent watched this channel in years and i miss the old voice
You are very patient. Looks like you enjoyed yourself.
Really cool video, kitty approved! 🐈⬛
Awesome that is a first for me.
The angle of the wings is called dihedral and it helps the plane fly better and straighter
I like it thanks video❤❤
Man almost wrote the entire instruction on the title
i have to wonder about the commenters saying this model is difficult or complex to build, i have built a few Oraldoo Thunder 3/32 scale radio controlled vehicles that are orders of magnatude more complex and difficult to finish

love you guys
а ведь никто не знает что у сливки шоу есть английский канал)))
у них куча ещё иностранных каналов

Cool
With the frame and wings of the plane That rhymes
Amazing video loved it and enjoyed it 😊
Dis is good!😊
Nice video!
I haven't watched this guy in a while his voice has changed so much
_Am Interessantesten ist das hier: __7:30__ Wo kann man mehr von dem Sehen?_
The most interesting is this: 7:30 Where can you see more of this?
Wow cool! 1:04
Owning a Cat - how did you even get this built without any incidences? 😄

If I was able to do that much hardwork i would have bought a real plane
great job 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very good .😊
харчова сода 👍
Харчова 😂😂😂 харчок! 😂
You should make the carbon rods shorter
So that propellers are closer to the center.
more distance from centre means more distance covered by the props means more air displaced per rotation and less torque from the rubber band which makes it last longer and fly further. But yes your idea would work if you wanted to just make it faster
@@gregc9344 fucking smartass wish I was smart like u
you can 3d print that too, fully, and have that thin surface also 3d printed
Should try to find and build the biggest balsa wood kit 👍
2M subs lets goooooooooooooo
Is anybody else here because that baking soda looks exactly like the Sodium in Tarkov?
💕👍
been looking all over aliexpress and can't seem to find it
u have 1.99M subs, congrats man. im a veteran
Great video! Would you post a link to where I can buy one? Thank you.
Thanks for sharing.
Do a video making a diy airplane at home!
Here before this video views explodes

when super glueing two parts, one part gets the super glue and wet the opposing part with water when the two parts meet they will instantly bond.
Wow, this is cool, your English-language channel is gaining millions, so switch to this one as the base, and make the main Ukrainian-language
P.S. Ми з України 🇺🇦
Он получает намного больше денег с рус-канала из за многомиллионной аудитории, лучше пусть он с него будет деньги на помощь в Украину отправлять.
As much as i appreciate this man efforts i hate how pathetic the product is, the manufacturer literally makes it so complicated and fragile.
Cat staring on thumbnail😂
Дуже добре!

Wait I’m confused is Ali express still shipping out to Ukraine?
Thank to share....
Thank you for showing me never to buy this you can go to any local pharmacy in America and go to the children's fiction and buy one almost built 4. Or 5 Parts total 🎉 PS been making me since I was a child never this hard
I want a graphene and carbon nanotube one that has the power to lift me
Try making a big one 😅
I wonder if a little heat from a hair drier would stretch the plastic wrap tight?
Bro this thing needs waaayy too much patience
Come for the cat, stay for the emergency sponge 😺 🧽🚨
Too delicate... Just make some paper planes...
1.99M СУБС СЛІВКИ!!! Продовжувати йти!
Privet SlivkN show
Cool video but that wood is not nicely cut. They also didn’t allow for clearances thus why you had to sand to fit.
Nice
make a even bigger plane
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Can you make another terrarium video I really like the one with Stephen
Pls just tell me which rubber band you use
Normally in my country they make kites using this plastic wrap or light sheets which can fly very high in the sky if you tie a string on it
