Quantum mechanics is just part of superstructure with underlying capitalist base. As we dismantle systems of power there is no reason to believe in such lies deceiving the working class.
@@dondog1278 Much like almost all of Quantum Mechanics, it's a lot of mathematical speak in order to get across an incredibly simple point: "Two objects (except for of course wavelengths, as they do not classify as objects) cannot occupy the same space at the same time." If we remember that fermions are essentially subatomic particles, meaning electrons, neutrons, and protons, breaking this down further, it's essentially that "no two subatomic particles within the same atom can occupy the same state at the same time", for example - no two electrons within the same atom can have two identical values applied to them, they MUST be opposites. Using this information, we can deduce that it is physically impossible for two objects to exist within the same space at the exact same time. In Hrot, the super shotgun's barrels are clipping directly through the center bar of the gun - thus violating the basic law of physics that two objects cant occupy the same space at the same time - thus further violating the Pauli Exclusion Principle. In short - it was an overly complicated way to tell a simple joke (or perhaps a simple way to tell an overly complicated joke, depending on how you look at the matter. It's a 'glass is half full/half empty' logical deduction conundrum).
I got me a 32:9 from LG a while back. Great for the home office but NOTHING supports that aspect ration in games. I've felt like a goldfish looking out of his bowl for the past year...
Yeah ultrawide monitors are not good for old games and those inspired by classic titles... Only useful for new fancy (focused on graphic) games and heavily modded games like Skyrim or Stalker Anomaly.
This is why I like Civvie so much. Other youtubers just review the game and be done with it. Civvie gives us history lessons and background checks into the games that borders on being Easter eggs, like the Gustav picture frame you can kiss; would’ve just be a weird inclusion if you didn’t know about that infamous moment.
12:04 ACTUALLY Česká zbrojovka, better known only as CZ did made a Chez double barrel shotgun wich DID violated the Pauli's Exclusion Principle right before Dirac could describe all spin -1/2 massive particles in 1928. So yeah, you are wrong.
The color scheme is not only a reference to Quake-engine games, but also a cultural reference to the period of Communist regime in the 1970s and 1980s, referred to as "Normalization". This period is usually remembered as devoid of spirit, grey and depressing. The inscriptions and signs are also cultural references to existing places or to propaganda signs that used to be put on every corner during that time. Couple of notes: - What you call a "table" is actually a public ash tray. This used to be a common feature in many public spaces. - That gym scene is a reference to compulsory gymnastics classes in schools, hated by many. - I cannot really find an explanation for so many sewers. In fact, 95 percent of sewers in Czechoslovakia were just narrow pipes, not walkable tunnels like in New York. I suspect that the developers made this deliberately to tease retro-game players, who like to make "sewer level" jokes.
I get all nostalgic whenever someone mentions a Flak Cannon. Brings me back to Unreal Tournament and the epic steaksauce goodness that was the Flak Cannon. Why can't devs make weapons like that anymore?
I remember the AMD 64-bit transition and it… not handling that well. And specifically the flak cannon. Shoot an oncoming Scorpion in the face and it might rocket into the sky and explode off the world ceiling… which you would then have to dodge upon its return to the ground. Was always hilarious. Friggin' loved the Flak.

@@spiraljumper74 i've never seen "establishment" used like it's used in the game. if you speak of a political establishment, it has something of a pejorative sense; no establishment calls itself that. "the socialist establishment" sounds more like the ruling class of the regime than the regime itself, which is what the quote originally refers to.
@@jozef.majernik Both are pretty common, innocuous terms in political science. Establishment has the extra implication of a nominally stable status quo I guess. It could be a cultural thing as well- "regime" is on the edge of being a pejorative in America because our politicians tend to call foreign governments that they don't care for "regimes" while our own are "administrations." Even though those terms exist within the same value-neutral political hierarchy. Specifically, regime is referring to the entire organization of the government, with all its attendant parts and constitutional documents. While the administration is whoever is responsible for running the government at the moment. That was actually why I responded in the first place, as someone whose education was mainly focused on political science, the seemingly arbitrary values of these labels in America always bothered me and struck me as dishonest political posturing.

0:52 "written in Pascal" what the fuck i thought Pascal was just this thing highschool "computer science" classes kinda faffed about with for a couple years back in the late 80s before ditching it for more practical and full-featured languages like qbasic. I'd be less weirded out if you told me this was written in Logo.
From what I have heard, the first versions of Pascal weren't very practical, but during the MS-DOS era it was pretty powerful with great tooling in the form of Turbo Pascal. In discussions related to it, there are always people who praise how empowering it was at the time compared to the alternatives - great compilation speed, great performance, better design decisions, more pleasant if verbose syntax, etc. The implementations that are out there nowadays (Delphi, FPC) still seem to beat most modern languages in performance and some people still swear by them as the best way to quickly throw a GUI application together.

"Two objects (except for of course wavelengths, as they do not classify as objects) cannot occupy the same space at the same time." If we remember that fermions are essentially subatomic particles, meaning electrons, neutrons, and protons, breaking this down further, it's essentially that "no two subatomic particles within the same atom can occupy the same state at the same time", for example - no two electrons within the same atom can have two identical values applied to them, they MUST be opposites.
A word of advice Civvie: get rid of that ultra wide monitor. It caused more problems for me with every game, with every recording than its worth.
I got me a 32:9 from LG a while back. Great for the home office but NOTHING supports that aspect ration in games. I've felt like a goldfish looking out of his bowl for the past year...
Yeah ultrawide monitors are not good for old games and those inspired by classic titles...
Only useful for new fancy (focused on graphic) games and heavily modded games like Skyrim or Stalker Anomaly.
ultrawide is still great for productivity tho. gaming and especially gaming and recording can be a pain
yeah.. id rather have 144hz than ultrawide
but ultrawide is still super cool when u get it to wrok!!

Just a small correction 11:30 that is an ashtray :D Love the fact that you took the time to look up Czech history! Keep up the great work!
Couple of notes:
- What you call a "table" is actually a public ash tray.
The Flak Cannon was beyond God Tier. King of kings of weapons.

2:24 The ultimate duty and honor of every citizen is the protection of the homeland and its socialist establishment - Czechoslovak constitution 1960
"regime" would work better than "establishment" tho
@@jozef.majernik by mohlo bejt, sem to psal narychlo
@@jozef.majernik "regime" is a value-neutral term in political science regarding an institution with established geographical limits, and laws created by a form of government. Either works really.

Patch updates - New weapon OctoShotgun.
I haven't played yet but is that a shotgun that has 8 barrels or a shotgun that shoots actual octopi? I'm not sure with a game like this.
I gave Hrot a pass after just seeing how brown it is and how it's *another* retro shooter. Actually hearing the audio for it and now knowing that it's made in a custom engine, even I can't deny it's got a good bit of effort put into it. Might give it a try sometime.
It's worth mentioning that forward-pumping shotguns do exist.
Would you be less weirded if you got told it was written in Erlang?
That spinning decal of a shotgun is a mind-numbing exercise to deduce. Soviet RMB-93 combat shotguns did prime this way, good video.
