Nice digs. I'm here to research typical architecture. Thanks for this detailed look at an actual building in Paris...the position of the elevator, stairwell, doors, mansard roof.
Michele Conoly Experienced both, I wouldn't want to eat the same meal every day. Enjoyed Colorado and Paris. Would love to visit both again stay awhile.
I stayed at one of these apartments thanks to some great friends I had in paris. You have to keep in mind that these top floors were servants' quarters back in the day. It is small but there is something so charming and parisian about this that it feels tolerable, at least for the few days I stayed there.
Love the rose garden and the balsa trade! I have often stayed in 11th in an apartment about half the size of this but no sensational view. Noise is fine when you have this classic Paris outlook
Once a very grand mansion for a single family in days long past.... You have beautiful views. And if all you need is a place to lay your head after travelling around, this is ideal. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs from the UK. Xo
I like the scale of Paris and the noise level. Out of the international cities I've visited for 2 weeks - 4 years include New York City, Berlin, Vienna, Mexico City, Prague, Casablanca, and many others for less time, the only place that matches Paris to me is New York City in every way, it seems or almost every way. But the others are pretty great too. Berlin was once the capital city of Europe.
I like these insights into real world issues like accommodation, eating, transport etc better than the glossy "must see" sights. Some commentary would have been even better.
I agree. Location (I know, I could use landmarks to pinpoint it on Google maps, but frankly, I'm both lazy and not that interested in this specific flat),what is included and cost per week/month.
I was wondering the same thing. Would've loved to see how it was set-up in there. That being said, this was mostly the views from the apartment. Great to stay in there for a few days ...
Magnificent entrance hall, pity the apartments landings aren't decorated the same, but great views of Canal St Martin? Montparnasse côlon juillet etc. Interesting to see the inside of the building, have often wondered what the average parisian apartment might be like
Abdulla Alawadhi Please please please tell me that you are not that stupid. Racist? Sure but racist and THIS STUPID I cannot!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 we are so many living in Paris and certainly richer than you would ever be. Poor stupid and racist man 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My mother was british, and lived to be 96. She spent many of her young adult life there during and after world war 2. My father was from the midwest, and my siblings and I grew up in Cos Cob, Ct. My mother traveled to Paris into her 90s. It was her favorite city., next to NY.
Gotta give credit where it's due, the French truly understand how to make stuff look fucking majestic, these people LIVE for the little details that for what i've seen, the rest of the world just doesn't quite care about.
perfect studio apt , I love apartments like this one, where was this apt located and how do I contact the property to rent a studio apt for one month please leave feedback
Much more interesting than. The stuff we can see in travel books or sightseeing guides since Heather does respond to questions I suggest that you folks call the French Embassy in DC and they will be glad to help if you're planning a trip.
A pity you don't tell us what arr this is in, or the rent that you paid. Good thing to know in Paris as they vary A LOT! And would have been much more interesting if you'd spoken during the vid and actually described things.
shame you don't tell us what is happening, ie: location, cost etc, but it did look very nice. we had booked a 2 bedroom cottage in the burbs, 20mins out of Paris for about US$1400mth, but ended up cancelling as we were able to bunk in with family.
Thank you, I stand corrected. However, Bassin de l'Arsenal is part of Canal St. Martin which passes underground from Place Republique to Place Bastille.
Looks like she stopped posting two years ago. Old lost account. She should of kept it up since 7 years ago. And kept vlogging about Paris. She would of had a million subs by now, well depending on her vlog style.
You are seeing: an amazing entrance way, fabulous little Parisian lift, a great little studio apartment, a mind-blowing view of the Seine and the city of Paris.
OMG, that street noise. I wish you'd closed the window to find out what difference it'd have made. And as mentioned, lack of talking and Mich time spent on the apartment was a negative. Liked anyways...
Sorry but to me it's like living in a closet, and the noise! I live in the mountains in CA about 40 minutes to Yosemite National Park, it's so quiet here, we have deer's and racoons, possums and skunks. The skunks don't smell and are so tiny and cute. Their not afraid of me and if course 4 kittys and a beautiful chihuahua. I suppose if my lifestyle doesn't need to live in a big city. Although I did live down south for a few years. Enjoy where ever you lay your head down at night, because that's where God will find you! :D
Michele Conley It’s alright to prefer different lifestyles. Hell, anyone would love to NOT have to live in a closet in the city, but our enjoyment of the city is what keeps living in these kinds of environments. I personally would take a closet next to the Eiffel Tower, than an estate in the woods. It’s all preference!
Hmmm very interesting. There was too much loud noise from the street you should have closed your window. The only think I didn't like about the apartment was the kitchen is too small.
It is small , i can understand the not breathing situation but actually it's kinda nice cuz it have free air coming from balcony which helps to control the not breathing situation in a tight space
See... I like walkthroughs like this. With no speeches of this and that. Cute apartment and great view!
Cool apartment tour! (And thank you for not adding music).

I love this little room. I wonder if it still exists

Beautiful entry way 🥰
The beautiful iron work as you look out... wonderful..

I would like to see more of the inside. Looks really cozy.
Wow, great view! And not a bad size place. X

Although it's small (studio) but it's a very nice apartment from the start we see the building & its location at the city centre.
Fantastic, book me right now!! Love your view too!
What a nice place! May i ask how much did you pay in a month for the rent and the addresses?
@@ensemberts 2400€ per month for a small studio flat..
@@ensemberts that is a very good price. I will keep your contact information for the future. I will certainly come to Paris again.
Good price? Ummm ok
@@janjones8006 that is much less than most hotels would cost.

The Parisian charm of a studette !
Not sure if the price is good or not but it looks a lot fancier than other apartments I’ve seen in utube.
So pretty ~
I actually don't mind the noise, I kinda like it, if you use your imagination it's a little bit like the ocean

how much did you pay for rent?
about how much does it cost and what size is it?

Out of respect for the owner I didn't want to give too much info. But it's near the Bastille Metro stop if that helps! ;)

Good for you. But many of us love the city. (PS video cameras have a habit of picking up and emphasising traffic noise.)
Europe is not for you! Small rooms, lots of smells, many cultures. Great food, beautiful buildings, wonderful parks too!
