- On my way to Asheville NC, I thought I'd spend some of the time talking through what I think about while I'm riding on the highway. There are a lot of factors that go into riding on the highway, but hopefully this helps to narrow down what to think about and how to look at the road.

I have a video on that, but you're right I added a few more things. Unfortunately this one is now wrecked. I am on the hunt for a new one.
I use my ST for transportation but also for fun rides in the mountains and twisties. Thing is, to get there I have an hour and a half on the highway. Mostly 2-way 2-lane roads that require a lot of passing campers and trucks. Multi lane freeways can be pretty scary in heavy traffic and I tend to avoid it if I can.
The ST is very capable of overtaking at speed. And just for kicks I got it up to 110+ mph one time on a desert highway with nobody else around. Brutal wind 😂

Bag is from Trip Machine and I think the gloves are from Biltwell!

Those aren't the stock ones. They are the Retro Handlebars from British Customs. Unfortunately I can't do a walk around. That bike was recently totaled :(

Cool video. I've never driven this machine, but I have the impression that on the highway it lacks 6th gear for it to cruise more comfortably. What do you think?
It does only have 5 gears. Now I have prior videos where I'm on the highway and it's fine. I just personally prefer a different bike for highway riding. 1100cc and up, maybe cruise control. 80 hp or more

I love the little things you did with the bike, specifically the handlebar wraps, gas cap, and tank bag. Were those options at the time or did you get them aftermarket?
I did them aftermarket! Gas Cap from Motone, handlebars from British Customs and tank bag from Trip machine.
