    I'm not sure about the law in SK regarding stalking but read recently about a SK girl who was murdered by her stalker the day before he was due in court. She wasn't famous and it had been going on for years. Her family, naturally, are devastated. This happens in every country in the world. I really don't think in general that stalking is seen for what it is. Wherever you live, and whether you are male or female this harrasment is a crime that doesn't always seem to be taken that seriously. These people aren't 'in love' or 'fans' they're criminals, who in a lot of cases are allowed to get away with their crime and no action or prosecution being taken seems to give them the green light to escalate their involvement. I don't think you can get away from the fact that someone is obviously selling idol's personal phone and schedule details either, and if that contributes to the stalking then they should be prosecuted as an accessory to the crime. And the person who poisoned the orange juice really should have been charged with attempted murder. If these people were prosectued immediately, it might deter others from wanting to cause harm.

    • @sleepysarah.
      @sleepysarah. ปีที่แล้ว

      @@donardodavinci6126 Absolutely. The girl I read about hadn't even told her family, so the first they knew of what she was going through was when she died. Her killer said he did it because she 'told' on him and he was being taken to court. I'm from the west, and today read about a girl who'd been raped at a party while she was asleep but charges were dropped as 'sleep experts' thought she may have had an episode of 'sexsomnia' - like sleep walking but consenting to sex while asleep, so no crime was committed. Really, you couldn't make it up. There's also been an explosion of girls here having their drinks spiked or being injected and passing out only to find that they've been sexually assaulted, which I'm sure happens everywhere. And I know these crimes aren't confined to one gender. I really hope that the attitudes of those who make the law changes soon because the more people get away with this stuff the more widespread it will become.

    Sasaengs nowadays are nothing compared to sasaengs back then and SM artists had the most notorious sasaengs. Yunho sasaeng was jealous cuz TVXQ was very famous than her fav at that time, SUJU faced many accidents and almost lost their lives they literally went through soo much and ever since EXO debuted it attracted tons of sasaengs and EXO's sasaengs were the most obsessed ones ever but i wonder how EXO continued to Love exols cuz the fans were also equally obsessed good thing that exols got so much better and matured over time.

    I know these are just examples of horrible seasangs stories, but I feel like male idols are the main target of such obsessed fans...
    Edit: Not saying that female idols do not have to deal with such horrible cases... I know that some obsessed men can put cameras in their dorms, follow them where ever they go, try to take them away, harass or even rape them... And such behavior is so disgusting and unacceptable 😤
    Edit 2: what is written in my first edit is just hypothetical... Girls groups have to deal with a lot, and was just stating what they could probably face (English is my 3rd language so am not that good at expressing myself in it)

    I hate hearing about crazy fans, like wtf is wrong with people
    This happens in America too and it’s like omfg
    Idk about Korean parents and their kids being fans of an artists but one video I saw it was Justin Bieber in his car with his security and a fan with their parents were chasing the car wanting to get an autograph, the parents said it was for the kid but the way they were chasing him and they way they acted it looked like the parents were probably gonna sell his autograph, it also looked like Justin wasn’t in the mood for autographs he kind of ran to his car
    Then another time I saw on TH-cam fans did what these saseangs do and tried to get Justin into their car while he was on a hike and people were chasing him like Jesus Christ
    There’s definitely not enough security in the world to protect these celebrities like if these girls can push over a 200 lb dude then Jesus

    This might be a bit of a hot take, but I don’t care how young the sasaengs are. If they are willing to go to such lengths to harm somebody, just so they will notice them, then they deserve punishment of some kind. Jail, in patient, hell something. They cannot be allowed to get away with this just because they could be a teen.
