With 3 biological children Aaron and Jackie decided to adopt 5 Haitian boys but they didn't stop there they also then went on to adopt 3 more boys from Toledo bringing their family number to 13.
Jackie's health declined due to Ehlers -Danlos Syndrome a connective tissue disorder. With Jackie unable to work this means that Aaron is the sole breadwinner for the family so things around the house have not been able to get repaired.

When one of the brothers said he will really study in college and then go back to Haiti and give back to other people what he have received in America is the proof that the parents raised them right. All of them getting scholarship is the best gift they will ever receive because this will erase the parents' worries of the children's future and so they can really spend their life to the fullest. ❤

Not because the house was the best, not because the father was a fire fighter or the mother unfortunately suffered from a devastating illness but because you picked the most selfless, loving and by far the most deserving family in America. I'm sobbing like a baby. My heart is so filled by this story. Like the one son said.... "My heart got so big that it just popped right out of my body". That's a feeling of lifetime. No money can buy that kinda feeling. I am so so thrilled for the whole family. God's speed. Continue to be great. Keep that special, unconditional love going. Nothing else matters more than what you already have as a FAMILY. I am in love with you all.
First time I have watched Extreme Makeover and I'm not sure that I will ever need to watch another episode. This programme had it all and reduced me to happy tears from beginning to end. How deserving this family is of your time, love and support and those in their community. You have all given 11 young men the opportunity to shine and make a positive difference in this world, may they all dream big and succeed. We have here in the UK a program called the Big Build which is similar in content and aims to help those most in need. My admiration and respect goes out to you all and thank you for emphasising how love and compassion for others changes lives in a ripple effect. This has been the best, and most rewarding 45 minutes I have spent in a very long time. Thank you ❤
This couple adopted 8 boys, adding to their own 3 boys. They had few possessions but a lot of love. All these boys truly appreciate everything they have received, but they are most happy about the college scholarships. It shows how they value the right things. This was an excellent makeover, nothing over the top, just basics, like beds.
I have never seen a family cry that hard with gratitude and I'm sobbing with them all the way from South Africa! Those parents are such incredible people with Father's love just flowing out of them, wow!

This was one of the most beautiful, wholesome, entertaining, and emotional house make over I've ever watched. My eyes are still wet, and i still have a big smile on my face. *All we need in this world is a little love in our hearts and a heart that doesn't see black and white* ❤

I was crying the whole time. This family is so beautiful. I hope the mom recovers well and the kids get to finish their education, have a bright future, and give back to the community.
The last part really took me, seeing those children happy, i couldn't held back my tears. This has always been my dream (to help those in need)

i love how the family adopted older kids and not just babies, kids over two have a harder time getting adopted, im so happy they took in five little boys and turned them into five strong smart young men
Watching and bawling my eyes out. I do work in Haiti since 2013 and I see the hopelessness and despair. So excited for this family, well deserving. Hats off to the parents.

The sadest, yet most wonderful episode ever. I cried from start to finish. There is a plan for all of us, we may not know it at the time, but we all are being lead to exactly where we are meant to be. Will be watching to see what those amazing boys achieve. Beautiful

@@sednanref I had to Google to find more info, not long after the show the kids moved out they weren't comfortable living there, the judge did apparently comment that he wondered why they took the children in to begin with, it was a while ago now but I know there are news articles on line related to the case

holy Toledo. This came up in my feed and I'm so glad I watched it. Such deserving people and so selfless. Such amazing souls to adopt all those children in need and then to hear them want to give back and help their fellow countrymen in Haiti was just heart melting. I truly hope that the mother is doing well, the father is staying safe and that the boys attain their goals. A house is just a house but a home is a house filled with love. Enjoy your new home.

Myself and my 3 children all have Ehlers Danlos syndrome and it is so debiltating. It was so nice to see this family get a home that not only suits the size but also the medical needs. I hope this family lives the best life in their new house

i don't think i have cried this much on a episode of extreme makeover... i hope everyone in the family is doing well i really really do... a kind man who not only puts his life on the line every day he goes to work but also carries the weight of the world within his home and his amazing wife who is fighting to hell and back to be there for every single one of their kids through the utmost kindness of their hearts and always with a warm smile on their face have saved and given so many children a wonderful chance at life... they truly all deserve the best things in life...

I really love and admire the couple who decided to adopted these children to give them hope. I wish our world could have more people like this loving couple. But most of all the Makeover group and the neighbors. They are incredible and donations should be given to them to help families who are doing good deeds to help unfortunate children. This is an amazing group fill with big hearted people. You are so incredible and God will bless you more for your amazing work of kindness.

It's cool. I watch these videos and feel good know I will always be a part of it--like thousands of other volunteers. I helped with the Keiki O Ka Aina build in Hawai'i in 2007 and got to attend the great after-party celebration (with some WAY fantastic food!) at the invitation of the builders who told me I was welcome to attend because, "you were the volunteer who would do anything." Love those memories of being a part of something so cool that helped and inspired so many and seeing how it all comes together.

I'm speechless for the first time in my life. I'm overwhelmed by the magnitude of what extreme makeover has done for this family and what this family has done for the children and how their coping came together to help out. Everyone who pitched in, must have had an incredible feeling that week. I loved every second of this and they get scholarships. This is a wonderful family who are doing wonderful things, and their children will go on to do wonderful things. Best episode ever.

What I admired the most is the love that the 3 biological sons shared with the adopted children. They could have felt bitter & despise them thinking if they were only 3 boys in the family, they would have a better life bc expenses would only be for a family of 5 & not 13. Those boys have kind hearts too. God bless them.❤❤❤
