    OMG thank you for adding the prices so tiring to watch other TH-cam videos with no prices and sometimes no location which is even worst!

    • @TakeTimeToTravel
      @TakeTimeToTravel  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We always like to add the prices so that others have an idea of what to expect. Hopefully our videos will help some folks find some tasty food that they will enjoy too. Thank you for watching :)

    As a Portuguese who worked in a restaurant, i must say, we have a different system for tipping, but it doesn't mean the tipp is included at all. We still expect guests to leave something extra, it just doesn't have to be 20%; 10% is considered pretty decent. If you don't leave anny tipp, it means you were quite unsatisfied with the service

      Well, it wasn't all in one day lol, but we do love to eat! Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)

    Amazing video. I love your stile, the way you show the place, the variety of restaurants stiles, the dishes' presentation, de description of each meal, and the prices. If I may make a time consuming suggestion, it would be awesome if you show a pic of a map with the location of the places. Again, amazing video, thanks for sharing all the info.

      Thanks for watching, and for the great feedback! We always include a list of the restaurants that we have been to, down in the description section of the video. Usually people will need to use Google Maps to find the directions to get there, so we haven't included a map in the video. Thank you so much for your very kind words, we really appreciate it :)

      We didn't realize we had so many restaurants to put into this video! There were also a number of other places that didn't make it into this video, as they were ok, but not great. That's a lot of food we ate lol (and a lot of calories). It's a good thing we walk so much. Thanks for watching Lili :)

    This food is all so beautifully presented. I can't believe the great deal at O Trevo. This video really got me missing the bafana.

    • @TakeTimeToTravel

      It was hard to believe that we got all that food at O Trevo for only €8. We do love a great deal...especially when it involves good food lol. Thanks for watching :)

    Thanks for such a detailed review of each restaurant. We are visiting in April. If you could only visit one of these restaurants, which one would you recommend?

    • @TakeTimeToTravel

      Thanks for watching and for your kind words! That's tough to answer! For an upscale option our favourite was Ofício, for mid range it was a tie between O Português Chiado & Taberna dos Ferreiros. But you definitely have to try the Pastéis de Nata in Lisbon, both Pastéis de Belém & Manteigaria are incredible! Sorry we couldn't narrow it down to just one!

    Chiado? It shows how touristic -oriented your choices were, even the ones you thought were cheap.

    How do you afford to travel non stop? I wish I could.

    • @TakeTimeToTravel
      @TakeTimeToTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depending on where you travel to in the world, some places can be quite reasonably priced. Compared to rents in Toronto, the cost of living in other cities are often cheaper. We always look for the cheapest flights we can find, some with long stopovers, and we always try to get the best deal possible at Airbnbs. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)

    These are touristy areas. Too bad the workers are onto the tip thing. I'm looking for real local places just outside of Lisbon where American tips aren't expected.
