  • This video shows off the debug 'All Question' mode in a very early Space Channel 5 prototype.
Each part of a level where you have to respond to commands is called a 'question', and your response is its answer. The All Question debug mode makes each part of a level use every question it has data for instead of just the ones it is set up to use in normal gameplay.
It is a useful mode to test all possible gameplay for parts of a stage in one go. In this version it reveals some older design elements in some sections.
Then it crashed during the second part of the first level and I ended the recording.
This prototype is available here: www.sega-dream...

The all question mode actually works correctly in the 2000 prototype. Just not all the way correct on sections where theres boss music because itll go way over time.

There's a weird thing about it though as it doesn't have the Nice and Bad hearts and instead still uses the same scoring system you just don't die. You still lose that fight if you lose all your hearts.

How did you activate this? It looks fun
Wish it was in the final game though, as some sort of a hard mode thing(and for extra suffering o7)
