    Commonly ask questions:
    #1 Like I said in the video I was going to buy an easyset filter and pump to help clean the water, which i did.
    #2 I drain the pool by using the filter and pump to pump out the water.
    #3 I do use clorine and always have. I buy tablets specially made for pools in desert climates. :)

      All I can do is dream through you. We had to have a sump pump put in (actually 2) in the area where I would have liked to have a pool. Other considerations are tree roots from wooded area behind us and I’d probably have s heart attack digging anyway. Sigh. Wish I had a family member like you that enjoys a pool - or some kind of pool anyway.

    This was a fun imaginative video and I love the frugal approach. Having recently done a pond my only concern would be that light of a guage of tarp should tear and leak easily. But for a season it could work great.

    I have a problem relevant to your yard specifically with tracking dirt into the pool. I might suggest getting some cast concrete tiles from a hardware/garden store and make a walkway to and around the pool. It would help keep dirt out and also help keep the liner edges in place.

    • @Debbie4729

      I just looked it up. According to google the hottest temp ever recorded in Australia was 123 Degrees F, And the hottest temp ever recorded in Arizona was 128 degrees F. So they are both WAAAAY too hot! haha!

    Save yourself the digging. Go buy a inflatable pool. Includes filter and pump for around $100. Rofl.

      Yes, But not anywhere close to the same size. :/

      intex its up in about 1 hour and its as large as yours 150 pounds for 10 feet and 200 for 12 feet,They go up in size and price as they get larger.Its not inflatable.They have a frame and the pool goes in the frame

      Check out the stock tanks; cheap and simple and will last a long time.
      Only issue i see is how long will the galvanized metal last with chlorine.

    Ok, now I want to maybe do the same, I dug down 3 feet, put a above ground pool in. Took it off down and gave it to grandkids. Spent 3
    year's getting it perfect, but didn't like the cheep pool. Maybe that liner is the way to go, only for my dog to play in. Just how to keep it clean ??

    • @MechNinji
      @MechNinji  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it is a cheaper solution! And like I said in the video, I just use a easy set pool filter ($30 online) and chlorine tablets. It works great!
