After about 2 weeks of waiting for the thing to get here from Wiseline Tools in Ontario it finally came. No snow yet in Cold Lake, AB yet though. Excited to give it a rip. Thanks for the update. Gives me a little confidence that I didn’t buy a little plastic toy for $1400
Looks like a decent little machine for small driveways. But I think it’s more than what I would need. I’d really like to see Dewalt make an attachment for the flexvolt attachment capable string trimmer. Something ideal for smaller porches and decks and certainly not as expensive.
Ryobi's expand-it line fits like it was made for it. I have the little snow thrower and it's great for walk ways and touch up. RYSNW00 is the model number.
@@Wagonman5900was jus gonna say the same thing. I got it last year for my dewalt string trimmer but didnt get any snow last year in south jersey somehow lol. I was disappointed
dislike my Ryobi attachment..not a fan of the housing being offset to the side and having zero ability to aim the snow...would love to see an attachment that is centered and has a way to direct snow @@Wagonman5900
Can dewalt put a switch on the headlights? I just got a new one, and the headlights are on. You can't turn them off not good for something you pay near $1500.00 for and no chute pick to clear the chute when the snow clogs it up that a safety concerned for me I think i will like the the Dewalt snowblower because i am 68 year old my big gas snowblower is to heavy for me now .
@@57pad75 that is fantastic commentary. The lights are definitely weird. It’s like they have a mind of their own! I think you’ll like it too. The light weight of it makes it feel flimsy but it’s actually quite durable. The real bonus is never having to deal with old gas, or running out of gas and the smell of gas. And it’s quiet. Thanks for watching and for the great comment. We need a light switch!!!
Good job... I have the FlexVolt batts and many other tools. I'm hoping they put em on sale maybe this summer. I also have an Old Cub Cadet 578 that is great for the big snows, but most are in that 3 to six inch range and living in MT, mostly powdery and this thing is beckoning... I love the non stick spray idea...
I’ve used it quite a bit now this winter and it works like a hot damn. Even for a little skiff of snow it does better than a shovel in a fraction of time. Two thumbs up from me.
Thanks for the videos! I'm an older (60s) very petite female. Do you think I'd be able to handle this machine? I have a lot of trouble shoveling, which is too difficult physically to push and lift since I live in north Idaho where snowfalls can be 6-12", sometimes light, sometimes heavy and wet. Standard two car driveway and sidewalk.
I have full confidence in you! It’s very light weight and easy to move around. However, if budget is not a factor you might want to consider something self propelled?
Have you had any issues since you purchases it? I bought one after watching your video. I set it up and turned it on. The red indicator light would not turn off so the blower wouldn't blow/turn on. The manual says to take the batteries out and reset it and if that doesn't work take it to a service provider. My light never turned off so I returned it. I read a couple of reviews from other websites that had the same issue. So just curious to yours if you had issues.
Thanks....debating if I should buy another one (same model) or Toro. Could just be a fluke...I have the dewalt ecosystem so the batteries could run my other tools.@@RinkVideo
I have a lot of the batteries for this but still not sold. I know it’s only single stage so not ment for a lot of snow. I use my plow for the driveway and thinking about getting one for patio and by the garage. Do you believe this could handle 6-8”?
I don’t think you could do a light jog in 6-8” (it might grunt a bit) but yeah I think it definitely has the power to handle it. It would never handle 8” of really wet snow. The beauty of this single stage is how clean it gets right to the surface. A pass with this after you plow would probably do wonders depending on how clean you like your driveway. I was pretty skeptical but so far I’m impressed. It’s very light weight and compact and so far exceeds my expectations.
Not knocking your vid, your presentation is great and to the point. But for this little snow, I barely even use a shovel, I use a broom. So, electric snowblowers - battery-powered ones especially - seem like a toy or a gimmick to me. Of course, if someone has shoulder or back issues, I can see how it could come in handy.
You would need one heck of a broom 😂 Seriously though I often use a broom too. But only when really cold dry snow. That stuff in this video is very heavy snow. Even shoveling it would have taken 10x longer. Nonetheless I appreciate you watching and taking the time to chime in. ✌️
@@RinkVideoNo problem man, you take the time to produce and post content and reply to your viewers, that deserves respect. Having just bought a new-to-me snowblower (a gas one), it's annoying to see all these vids pop up about battery snowblowers, posted by fanboys who think that they are equal or superior to gas ones, and their «proof» is blowing 2 inches of snow 8-10 feet away... You don't come across as one of these idiots, thank god. You show the pros and cons of the product, and that's great, even though, again IMHO, they are toys and I'll never buy one.

They make a power snowshovel that is exactly as you describe.
Ive had the simplicity and Toro single stage paddle blowers and this look brutal in comparison.
forget that cooking spray bro, get a hybrid ceramic wax and spray the whole thing. Works better, lasts longer.
Snow coming tonight! I’ll see if I can find some wax.
