What a simple yet awesome design! I build campervan in the US from scratch. Now, I want to build to build a similar rig on a Toyota Tundra platform. Unfortunately, the Hilux isn't available in the US market.
Very well built, top materials, i would extend the chassi and move back the rear axle a bit further back, like 700mm or 50mm maybe even 1000mm, you would gain braking, control, departure angle, better handling over all, and would add a brazer for the chassi, this is not expensive or difficult, and you convert your pick up into a mid size truck. @@Jabber-ig3iw tacoma is built on the hilux platform, the 3rd gen 4runner was on the hilux surf platform, then 4th gen and 5th gen 4runners moved to the Land Cruiser Prado platform
So cool your Hilux, and did you do something for Ad blue or not now ? Because very bad thing for Africa or some east country with bad gazoline, can be a big problem....
Omdat ikzelf ook overweeg zoiets te bouwen, maar tegen fiscale regels aan liep, vraag ik mij af hoe jullie dit hebben opgelost; Zag bij de RDW dat deze nog steeds op bedrijfswagenregistratie staat, maar volgens mij is de opbouw vast gemonteerd. Hoe zit het met het gewicht op dit moment, en met een eventuele APK. Ben erg nieuwsgierig. Vind het allemaal heel mooi gemaakt en ook wel doordacht, maar vraag me echt af of jullie de BPM hebben doorgedacht.
Incredible truck!!! Very beautiful! You make me laugh when you say that Euro 6 allows any road or highway, that's because you don't know South America, there are several countries without euro diesel. That engine wouldn't last more than a few miles on South American highways.
En cuanto al motor del hilux no hay problema en Ecuador nosotros tenemos muchas hilux aquí y no tienen problemas , no se a q se refieren con euro diésel ?...
@@rnunezc.4575 Estimado, puntualmente las Hilux toleran bastante bien el combustible incorrecto, al menos las con motor D4D, desconozco sobre la nueva motorización. La principal diferencia entre los distintos tipos de gasoil es la cantidad de azufre que contienen, y el problema del azufre radica en el sistema EGR, un recirculador de gases que disminuye las emisiones contaminantes. Este sistema envía gases del escape a la admisión, en el caso del gasoil con mucho azufre, el común digamos, el azufre se mezcla con la humedad del aire y, química mediante, aparece el ácido sulfúrico que no le hace nada bien al motor. Desconozco la calidad de combustibles en Ecuador, pero acá en Argentina, en muchas zonas del interior muchas veces solo tienen gasoil común, y por ejemplo, el caso de las VW Amarok, después de unos kilómetros con gasoil común empiezan a funcionar mal y por lo general hay que cambiar la válvula EGR. Gasoil común 1500 ppm de azufre Gasoil euro 10 ppm de azufre
@@cesarmchannel muy buena explicación cesar te agradezco , cero q Ecuador si tiene buen diésel porque nuestra refinación se reacondiciono a menos azufre por contaminación aire principalmente según dijo gobierno hace muchos años 10 aproximado..y yo recién cheque color de distintas gasolineras el diésel se ve casi como agua y antes era como keroseno..rosado etc...en todo caso las hilux y amarok no tienen problemas ya q tengo parientes q tienen esos vehículos nuevos años recientes y no he escuchado de mi mecánico comentarios sobre el tema...esperemos esto sea así...saludos
