So these aren't AI made sounds? Darn. I've been making packs recently but was hoping they were new. I had a weird feeling based on the titles they weren't made from scratch. The quality is too good compared to AI composed stuff. If they're 100% royally free and I can sell beats and get sync placements with them then I guess it's cool, but they need something like this where it makes them from scratch so I don't have to worry about other people using the same stuff. Pretty cool technology though. It's a good start for the future of AI.
Isn't this just a database of samples with a more detailed search engine? these sounds aren't been generated, it's just looking up already indexed samples.
I think it first looks for fitting samples, then it pitch shifts and stretches them to match key and tempo. Sometimes you do get samples with artifacts that don't seem intentional
This is NOT what we want or need from AI . What AI needs to do for us is act as a MIX assistant to finalize levels insert needed effects for broadcast ready tracks and to master and finalize in all formats for distribution. Basically a production robot so we can dedicate our creative energy to writing great songs and designing great sounds . Having us pick from random sounds and grooves is a compromise and it destroys the artists role in creating the nuts and bolts of great music …Sounds and music is our job .this is their answer to not upset all the production folks who thrive on producing artists which is an artistic choice the musicians and artists should make themselves without the AI . That would be a perfect “Kraftwerk “ . Until that happens it’s a joke to use AI like this 👽✌️

It’s more up to the person describing what they want, I’ve gotten some pretty interesting sounding generations using it. Id say for being free it’s pretty decent, if you don’t like any of the generations you can retweak your prompt or generate more

@@PodPeak I have Arcade so obviously if they incorporate this into Arcade it would be great, but I wouldn't pay a higher subscription for it.
I'm going to mess around with it some more. Will be interesting to see what else Output has up there sleeve.

It’s just a beta release. I’m sure they’ll charge when things are fully developed.

by any chance, would you know why it works with Bing, but with Chrome I can't play the samples?
