Thank you so much for all of the kind words and your support. It means so much to Corey and me. You’re a great person, and amazing too! Thank you, Matt
Hi there! Thanks for subscribing to our channel. I came here to check you guys out. We’re happy to find you! This is our first video to watch so we’ll check out some that Matt and you did also!
Hi Sixblind Kids! This is Corey, Matt’s wife! I’m so glad you found our channel and I am looking forward to watching your videos! I am excited for you to check out our other videos, I am sure this isn’t our best, haha. I think Matt’s videos our really good! We both enjoy making videos and I think our unique perspectives are good. Thank you so much for checking out our channel. I hope you all find value in our content! May I ask the age range of your kids? Thank you! Corey
@@BlindtoBillionaire Hi Corey, Joe left the first comment. Now it is Karen. In the future, you can tell us apart because I use emojis and he doesn't! 😉😂😁 It is nice to meet you both. Hannah is 23, David and Bethany are 19, Jesse is 18, Abi is 17, and Obed is 13. We also have 2 grown sons. 😊💕
Hi Karen! It’s so nice to meet you! I love that you and your husband and family have a channel! I’m curious if you could give any advice to Matt and I what it would be to make our life easier or better? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you! Corey
@Blind to Billionaire Oh, my...I hate giving advice because everyone's life and situation is so different. Losing sight later in life is a different ballgame. The only thing that comes to mind, and I am sure you have done this, is to check your state department for the blind and vision impaired. Open a case and work with a rehab and mobility counselor. They usually want you to live at their facility during training (6-9 months), but I know they will also work with you at home, in the community, and at work. I would definitely take their advice over mine. We recently did a video about a blind hairstylist who lost her sight in her 40s. Matt may be able to relate to her. She, like Matt, is very strong and determined to live her best life. If you guys ever come to DC, please let us know! 😊💕

Great video and totally agree with what you said, because there might be some small frustrations at odd times related to a partner being blind but agree that if there’s bigger problems then it runs deeper than just to do with vision loss.
Hi Martin! It is so nice to hear from you! Thank you so much for your comments. I feel like we agree on things and have a similar feeling about how relationships work. I also feel like no one knows what the future holds and so everyone deserves love from someone who cares for and respects them as an equal. Thank you for your support, Corey
Hi Corey, thank you for posting this powrful video. Marrying my husband was the best thing happened to me, he keeps me strong, helps me become better person, and won't let me pitty myself. We grow oler together and appreciate each other everyday. I hope whoever asked you this question would get it. And I hope it came from someone who doesn't know you and Matt very well.
Hi Yuki! Thank you so much for your kind response :) I appreciate your support and it is nice to talk with you. Matt tells me about your fun vacations and you and your husband sound like you have the same interests and as Matt and I. Marrying Matt was the best decision I have ever made :) It was so nice to hear from you, Thank you! Corey
Great video Corey. It’s nice to hear things from your perspective. I can imagine that marriage has to be a team effort whether or not someone has a disability.
Hi Juan! It’s great to hear from you! I appreciate your comment and that really was the point I wanted to make. I hope you are doing well! Thank you! Corey
Corey You are so funny. Every time you say “I’m going to make a short video “they are always a long video LOL. Your words are genuine honest and clear and that’s a good trait to have. TFS……👌🏽
Hey Lenny! It’s nice to hear from you! This is Matt, I saw your comment and thought it was really funny. Thank you! I just wanted to say, Corey is great at talking! Winking face I’ll let Corey respond to the rest of this comment. Thanks again! Matt
Hi Lenny! Thank you for commenting and writing to me! This is Corey :) Talking is definitely my gift hehe. Now we just have to work on better listening skills; Matt would agree :) Thank you so much for your kind words and support and thank you for being a good friend. Corey
I have been with the same most beautiful woman on the face of the planet for the last 13 years. I have been blessed to be married to her for the last 8 years. In all honesty, in all the years we've been together we still till this day I have never had an argument. Yes she annoys me at times and yes I know her as well. However, we are both non-confrontational people. We just walk opposite directions and give ourselves time to steam off. Then later spill out our grievances. I noticed when I became visually impaired under a year ago she was getting very frustrated with all the extra work she had to do for me. I did not want this to cause a wedge between us. So I've tried as hard as I could to find ways to adapt so that she did not have to do so much. But in all that time she had never complained. Only stated that she had to fill out so much paperwork that she felt like she was writing a novel. LOL I truly believe that one of the main reasons I am so upbeat about my visual impairment is because of my most wonderful family by my side. I absolutely love being a dad, husband and friend. My family is truly what keeps me sane. I truly hope that your marriage lasts for years and years and years to come. Remember one thing you and Matt have done more then most cited married couples in just a few years time. I have never taken my wife on a cruise but I will as I decided that's what I'm doing for our 10-year anniversary. I decided this because of your previous videos that I saw when I first found you on TH-cam. Or should I say You Found Me by giving me a wonderful comment to a comment I left for someone else. You and Matt were so kind that I had to see your Channel. I have been hooked ever since. You guys are good people and good friends.
Hi Vincent! I always appreciate your insight and honesty. I feel like the love you and your wife show for each other is something Matt and I aspire to emulate. I pray for your wife’s patience and kindness, but I totally agree with her on the paperwork front :) I think it’s really cool that you stepped up to become more independent to help you family and wife. You are a remarkable person. I hope you do get to travel together soon. Matt lets me go with my Mom and sister sometimes but I love to travel with him. We are enjoying our adventures. Thank you for your kind words and support, Corey
Corey...God picked you to be Matt's wife...you are an amazing wife ..mom an his BFF You think well...have a blessed day Corey Your both an baby are made in heaven...AWESOME❤🙋
Corey Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. Matt just emailed me and told me that you just got a new phone and that you handed your iPhone over to him…… Congratulations to both of you. I am sure that a lot of people have told you the short cuts on the iPhone, but in case someone didn’t tell Matt this one…… Triple click on the home button for an iPhone will take him to the magnifier
I appreciate your honesty. But I feel this is more complicated then you've framed it. Every couple is different but I feel that sight loss can really impact a marriage. For context, I'm 11 years married and legally blind from birth
Hi GD! Thank you so much for your response and for sharing your feelings. I completely agree that there is more to being married to a blind person than just extra patience and helping out. I would love to hear more about your feelings on being married as a blind person and what you think a sighted spouse could do to be a better partner. Thank you so much, I appreciate hearing from you and meeting you, Corey
Hey Lenny! Thank you for the helpful hints! I look forward to talking to you and getting to know more about some of the tricks you use on the iPhone. Oh, by the way, this is Matt! May I ask, do you use the dictate feature to write these messages? Or are you physically typing them out on a keyboard? I’m just curious what other people do. The dictate feature is pretty awesome, but it’s not perfect. It definitely makes my life a lot easier and faster, that is for sure!! Thanks again Lenny, you’re awesome! Matt
Hi! Thank you for the comment and your input, we sincerely appreciate it. I I agree, vision loss in a marriage can definitely make it difficult at times. We’ve been married almost 2 years and we’re still trying to figure out what are some of the best systems for us. It’s definitely a learning curve that probably takes longer than a married couple who is cited. Also, this is Matt, I thought you had an interesting comment and I also wanted to reply. Thank you again for your insight, it is really nice to hear from you May I ask, do you have any tips or tricks that have worked really well for you and your spouse? Thank you again, talk to you soon! Matt
You're an awesome woman, Corey. I've just found your channel and I need you to help me cus I'm an Arabian girl and you know it's totally different to be live in an Arabic country we don't have the same space like you, so I'm really hesitated cuz I have one person he fallen in love with me but I can not respond to be honest I'm afraid from the responsibility I'll take in the future and how I'll take care of the financial wise and a lot of things just came to my mind, but after all I really like his personality but I can't say that I loved him yet, so what you advise me to do plz?
Hi corey, i have to ask this. Hopefully isnt this an answer on a question from somebody? That would be so rude and someone who DoD not have any respect for you, Matt and all the blind people in the world. And they would be poison for every human being and stay far away to any person. If there is anyone who ask you something like this woul make me really piss off. Love sabrina
Hi Sabrina, thank you for always being so support and such a good friend to Matt and I. We are so happy and just like any relationship we choose to work together and support each other. Thank you for your kind words, Corey
Blind to Billionaire hi corey, like is see in your answer i notice that you avoid my question wich means it really was a question why you stay with Matt. And that is rude, hurting, short sighting and really evil. Because why should you leave a person because of a limitation. Like someone is defined by being blind, deaf or what ever. Unfortunately are there people outside who does those things unfortunately also in my family. The fact that i have hard time with them prove this point. But you 2 are in my heart and it really pisses me off that there are people who badly enough think it even drop the question. Like my financial coach told me to throw my dog out because she is old and has a lot of medical Bills. Really when he told me to kick my dog out of my house i really could kill him. Its a lack of respect and this kind of questions too. So pity that the most people are so easily talking without their heads. Because what has blindness to do with kindness and personality. And when they get older they also can overcome such things and then they are just sad and helpless. So terrible this. Love sabrina
People like you are amazing. I wish more sighted people were even open to the idea of dating a blind/low vision person.
