Simple and cheap 5 lug, love it.

Great progress! Nice job on the jig. I am constantly making 3d printed drill jigs 👍👍👍

Do you have a source for the STL on that 3D printed guide?

That tab is way important... I lost brakes on a 66 mustang mid country trip because previous owner had used the wrong side adjusters... allowing my wheel cylinders to overextend and dump all my fluid in the poorly designed single reservoir system that's used pre -68 on all cars... you should be fine, but I'd weld a little tab so the brakes don't back off on you.

fyi, you dont really have to unstake the stock nut. Its there to keep it from working itself loose (as opposed to stopping a wrench on it). I removed mine by using a socket on the nut and a breaker bar, jammed it, then rolled the car backwards (passenger side anyway). came right off with no damage to threads. The stake part just flattens out. I did this because the FSM said NOT to unskate it. I suspect it would work even better if you just weakened the leading edge of the stake (with a dremel), as i have read where some folks this did not work, but it did for me. Maybe it depends on how deeply the stake is done (why some folks have problems leaving the stake in).

Looks good with the lift haha. Im going to be putting a 8 lug axle under my dune truck and will have to drill it out to 6 lug so I can keep my old rims and tires. Good to know im not the only one doing stuff like that. BTW I use my Tahoe's onboard air all the time too.

We aren't sure why it's sitting so tall right now haha!

Perhaps the suspension bushings have settle back into place. Either way you know me and I like the way it sits haha.

Autumn, please think about wearing safety glasses with that air chisel. Bad things can happen very quickly with one of those. Wouldn't want to see that happen to you!! (AWESOME wheels/tires, BTW!!!)

You are 100% right! I got a little too excited and forgot to grab my pair. Thanks for pointing that out! 🙂

@@WrenchChill I've done that many times myself over the years. It just takes one of those times to have something fly off and get you!! Stay safe, ALWAYS!!! 😃👍
