As an owner of an even larger 2019 Connect (that I sometimes travel in) I’m going to give him a thumbs up just for the innovation in such a small space.
Well done with the configuration and that headboard serving multiple functions. I liked it as a head board so that the cold radiating or small draft from the back doors, would protect his head. It would have been nice for the fridge to be integrated in the back but I understand that would have narrowed the bed by 4-6 inches. Very pretty with the lit octagon inserts on the wall and choice of wood.
You have to get a four year old to pump the water. They have a system to hold down a lever at lowes to wash your hand one at a time. Inconvenient you would have to do some gymnastics to wash your hands over and put your arm on it to wash both hands at the same time. On my build I would use a timed switch on a pump also a valve to slow down the pressure. Course to each his own design is all that counts. Nice build for someone on a fuel budget. I'm going to at least get a chevrolet express. Course real trouble if engine needs replacing.
This is really beautiful!! I love the light colors and everything is thought out. I noticed the Coolmore Jacket. I don't live far from that farm. Nice video. Do you still build these campers?
Thank you, Yes mattress has a plastic sheet put on under side and is layed on floor, to keep mattress clean, It is a 15 cm thick memory foam mattress that folds in 3 sections which is amazingly comfortable.
We debated back and forth on this topic and came to the conclusion that when you do your shop it would be easier to load from passenger door and also this meant we didn't have to extend any wiring that came with fridge just cable managed it with stock connections. Has no knock on effect to how you use it from back and most importantly does not cause distraction of opening while driving. last thing you want is a bungy cord whacking you in the face while driving. Am I not right?
The interior dimensions (length) of the Ford Transit Connect cargo space is 2057mm. The interior height of the Transit Connect is 1364mm. The wheelbase length is 2662mm (SWB). The width between the wheel arches on this model is 1222mm.
Lovely build, but it's probably going to be rough on your knees ( having to kneel all the time ) due to lack of headroom. I would assume that your back would also suffer. However you did a good job of interior design.
I agree with you totally, Customer has come up with a clever solution for this of using a plastic sheet to protect mattress and can leave it folded out giving him 15cm of comfy memory foam to kneel on when he desires.
There is an Ecoflow delta mini power bank located in the middle unit that powers everything, charged from vehicle alternator or unit can be removed easily and fully charged from any AC socket in under 2 hours. There is also the option of adding solar to charge should customer require it. For now client is getting about 3 days use out of system and has access to AC power whenever he requires a top up.
They are two 10 litre tanks i had lying around which i simply drilled the caps out for hoses to precisely fit with the just enough gap so air can get in so no vacuum is created on fresh water tank. Amazon has a wide selection of varying shapes and sizes to choose from i sure.
Clever, thoughtful and beautiful.
I meant to add I've seen A LOT of Transit Connect conversions and this is very unique to me, and very very clever.
great build! I love to see how people design the inside of the vans
Glad you like it!
I really do like this van build, such a small place but you did it so spacious and elegant.
First I thought you’re joking, that’s a normal/big Transit. Wow, such an amazing and spacious conversion! Well done! 👏🏻
This is a very beautiful craft man, it looks so elegant and you did good by the space, still looks roomy and homey.

Volume at a whisper
Very very nice build. So comfy and cozy!!! BRILLIANT!!! 👍🏽
Glad you like it!
i don't know how practical this would be to live in, but would make a wicked weekend camper getaway vehicle!
Nicest Connect conversion I've seen so far, wowza!

What a very nice conversion. The light pine keeps everything bright. Do you have the mattress right on the floor? And, how thick is it?

You can fit a 10 gallon water tank under the van in front of the spare tire ,
Super cozy!
Great job, curious as to why you wouldn’t have fridge open to drivers side?

@@julzhayes good answers thanks for the reply:)
Love this build! I'm looking at a Connect to do something similar myself. What height and wheel base spec is this one?
