Firstly, Thanos here is mortal again so he’s vulnerable to all the things we are vulnerable of too like disease, hunger, fatigue, and he’s possibly slowly dying here from dehydration. Second is that there’s barely anything there to make technology from even if he’s a technological genius, it’s just a wasteland with debris, broken buildings, and scrap metal. You still need energy to make real tech, the only thing you can do with metal is just shape it into weapons which is what he’s doing.
