More info in the Description! For anyone wondering why to even have a manual Chain Combo instead of just having 3 AI ones, 2 reasons: 1) It's sensible to have a manual option just in case you feel the need to quickly take control for something. 2) Manual "Come Together!", "Tingling Chimes" is a good way to quickly raise the AP maximum if it's low, but that's a topic for THIS video: th-cam.com/video/wK_NLo5wraM/w-d-xo.html For AI combos feel free to try longer chains than I showed here. She might still perform the later skills... occasionally... The main thing is starting off right and not putting heal/revive last or something which would yield poor results. Another thing you can do is add an item in her Chain Combos (you can do this with anyone). This isn't something I like doing personally because it consumes resources and you can't hold a lot, but you can use very cheap items easy to replenish. I've seen it said that following up "Tingling Chimes, Ceremony" with another one instead of "Tingling Chimes" gets better results. I think you'd just get similar results with just 1 "Tingling Chimes, Ceremony" on its own though and I think I've seen her spam "Tingling Chimes, Ceremony" even with the "Tingling Chimes, Ceremony"/"Tingling Chimes" chain. My reckoning is that she does either so make of that what you will. If you REALLY don't want to play es'Owa I gather there's a Noel piece in a chest in the Imperial Capital. It's also possible to craft pieces so you could try that but I've yet to see a Noel that way. Don't like Nina? Equip Rena and Noel on Albaird, Malkia, Marielle, Elena or Laeticia and they become decent healers. ADVISORY: The odd person has mentioned AI Nina using Come Together with bad effect. If you want ONLY AI Nina, DO NOT give her it! I've beaten everything including post-game and she never did that to me so it might depend on personal gameplay or something. Just keep it in mind that she "could" summon you and if you want, replace that chain with a buff or something. Alternatively you could swap it round to "Tingling Bells, Ceremony", "Come Together!" instead. When maxed out, Tingling Bells heals status afflictions which is handy as her Purification skill only heals herself. That frees you up to possibly use something like invisibility instead. UPDATE - Dec 2022: On Dec 8th a patch update to version 1.03 will (among other things) "significantly increase the occurrence rate of recovery actions by AI manipulation of Nina".
Wow this video is criminally underrated. Thanks so much! I had no idea about the 5 AP thing, which I can use to better the other AI too. Immediately noticed a difference especially late game.
She's almost purely a healer/buffer/annoyer. She can't even target enemies, she targets allies but she does have AoE moves that can affect enemies. The only way she can target enemies is in stop mode where she can throw items. So yeah, you aren't going to solo the game with Nina but she's very good at what she does.
Ppl complain about her a.i but the simple solution is just to play her jkjk but she is actually pretty great at doing damage and becomes pretty fun to control when you have "no guard" passive on her
Thanks for the info! I'm a bit late, so idk if it was in a patch or something, but Nina ai has used come together a lot for me. Once or twice it actually came in clutch, too. Other times, not so much :D
@@KingX In a certain boss fight near the end she used it twice just to res someone. She prioritized res over heal, which ended up getting everyone but her dead for half a second. she got the skill off just in time to bring everyone back, though lol
This is all good to know. I was on the right track. I basically got rid of her offensive attacks, and prioritized Ceremony version for healing. The only problem I’ve had is sometimes she’ll derply buff even though one ally is KO’d and another is on the verge of death. But I’m those cases, I made a note that I’ll either remove some of the buffs (have other party members on buff duty or use potions) or have a tanky Ray with back up items. (Seriously. Dude is like a truck. He was my last man standing multiple times.)
With so many people all over the webz complaining about her AI, this video is awesome and should hopefully silence the Nina haters in terms of her healing and how the AI in the game is. While I had figured this out through trial and error, I'm going to use the accessories / Pawns you showed to help give me that extra boost, as I don't have them Fantastic video!
my Nina uses come together all the time and its friggin annoying that I am beating on the boss/enemy and she uses come to gether, pulling me off the boss/enemy
@@KingX I mean it wasn't all bad she did use it and saved my ass a few times. But the move is still annoying when I have a boss stunned and attacking and she uses it to heal or revive. It has a stupid big aoe to it
Nina sucks, and you don't need a healer. Use the other 3 party members as meat Shields because the Ai doesn't know how to put out real dps like you can. All you need is 1st aid maxed, and if you make then make an Accessory with 6% Absorb on hit. Put 4 of those on that accessory then on your chest stack 4 30-48 Accessory factor. After that you will basically heal for 50% of every hit you do. In end game you will make a tri ace then will move the the 4 +6 over to that for the 20 resistance
Yes but then you go from compromising with the AI to not being able to lose. And considering how easy the game is already, that can be very boring for a lot of people.
She also has a buff that raises guts which increases amount healed. it even says so under the ability name. I cant remember what its called but yeah the Millie and Noel is a must.

Surprisingly, her gameplay mechanics are so satisfying. Enjoyed it a lot 😊
Yes her damage is pretty great to in my opinion
i think this is the first video who shows some gameplay of her. Thank you! i was seaching for one since the release

I've had her AI use come together once. Was about to plow into some mobs and got teleported away by her lol

Nina's AI did get a patch in terms of healing more and stuff but I don't know if that includes Come Together!.

King -X thanks for this wonderful guide , it will be a great guide once i started playing the game😎
Yep, just check the pinned comment when you do as I have a couple of extra details I learned since.
This is very helpful, thank you!

I liked her character alot..
This is probably a dumb question, but does the AI use the combos you set up or does it just use abilities as it sees fit?
I hear they only use abilities that you've set up in Chain Combos. They use those chains as they see fit.

Weird, I've beaten the game and she never did that to me. You confirm my advice not to use it for AI though.

it was shown that Accessory factor caps at 60% in effect so stacking 4 of them is pointless.
