A minor tip for changing your xp equipment to the next character since the ui is kinda clunky. Don't unequip it just equip it onto the next character since it will be close to the top of the list.
just wanna say i'm so happy to see your thumbnail. I was like lvl 44 then kinda sad if i'm already halfway or near the end of the story (i assumed max is 50 or 99) then i see the lvel 255. so happy!
I think someone just calculated the XP yesterday and was testing if there's a cap on the Armor and Weapon-effectiveness increase and came to the conclusion that 60% is the cap you can increase with PER equipment. So basically, you only need 2 factors with "Increased Accessories Factor" to reach the full potential. For example, 48/30 or 30/30 and you're good. That way you can actually increase the XP you get when using both Armor and Weapon with those factors, but in all honesty.. it's already so quick, it's just Min/Maxing at this point and not needed. Have fun everyone!
Wow this is great. I have been keeping latecia and albaird in my party pretty much the whole time so far because of the extra fol and exp perks that they have. Maxed out those skills on them first. I just got back to latecia planet and am already at lvl 122. With very little time grinding and haven’t been utilizing the item creation so much to try and get the x4 perks on accessories or armor. But before I left paladurnia I spent about an hour or so crafting moonstones and I got the evil hell slayer +1 sword for ray the hidden skraep +2 and the Dijon singer +1 for maklya the perks are not that good on them yet but they will be soon. Lol
Man...as much as I love this game, it's kinda crazy how much Fol and EXP you can get so quickly. I don't even fight all that frequently and yet I always end up with as much or around as much Fol as I need to buy better gear. I haven't even needed to buy items, really.
That is just par for the course in star ocean :') brings a tear to my eye to know they will always leave synthesis to be the most broken mechanic in the game. Having trouble with any boss? Just play with synthesis for a few hours youll be set!

Realistically, this takes 5 hours of crafting at least. I'm averaging one exp factor per hour on an item with Leticia at lvl 10 Crafting. The grind for this is tremendous.
its RNG, some people got all 4 factors in less than 20 crafts, some people spend hours, theres no "realisticly it takes xxx amount of time" theres also the facters you get from going through the game untill you unlock synthesis ect which are also random, you could very well have the factors needed the moment you hit the unlock point

I found a slightly easier way to get the exp factor. Simple craft the faize accessory/mini-game piece. It always comes with a base factor of 135%+ exp. His mini-game accesory piece is 4* so it can be gotten from rainbow diamonds or dark matters.
The levelling takes 60 seconds. The prep so you can go levelling takes maybe a couple hours if you are lucky 😅. Still, its absurdly broken and I love it. Lets hope they don't 'fix' the crafting exploits on Star Ocean 2 remake that is coming in a couple weeks. Thanks for the vid, one year later!
I also know a way to use SP Seeds use the Item effect factor % because I just tested it, and I don't get 50p but 62p with only the 25% item effect, pretty neat, it is easier to get then the exp factor or 38% to accessories factor effect
This method can also be applied for getting ridiculous amounts of money (Fol); look for factors that increase percentage of money after battle, stack them up similar to EXP boost on one character (or all) and Kaching; jackpot.
sadly, you cant, Fol factors just over write each other, meaning what you want is +fol 35% and then 5 Surprise boost 80%s to increase your surprise battle multipler to 5.3 (the cap) that is the highest fol multipler you can get
and ONLY play on earth mode so that mostly everything dies in under 30 seconds BESIDES the POST game bosses SP +50 books can be made so while the 255 lvs isn't enough to max out the skill tree's/skills ALL to lv 10 AND have all 7 IC skills maxed out to lv 10 at lv 255 that won't matter DUE to the +50 SP skill books.
I don't understand what you have done to your armour actually, those factor skills will boost the other factors from your accessories? Also I wanted to ask if it's better for more characters to learn crafting or should I just use the best character that's recommend for this!
I liked the video and will try to do this myself as well. but one thing i have noticed while playing the game is that the factor boost for things like increased fol and xp tend go across the party ( to include even the in active charcters). this might be a glitch that will get patched but I will take your build and test my theory out as soon as i can, because if it does work that means that the time would be lowered from 60 secs to.....I will say at least half the time. than again i am assuming you are doing this either endgame or post game.

yea you dont wanna do that, its wasting time that you can use to murder other things and even then chances are you can only really get to a 50 combo before everything is dead, its just not worth the hasle
i didnt include the prep time because you get most of these factors just running through the game anyway, chances are your sitting on a ton of them by time you unlock synthesis to say nothing of the end game providing you dont sell everything

First star ocean? To me it's not a star ocean game if you're not able to completely break it. In till the end of time there's a way to win almost 1000% exp via synthesis and combat gauge.

This might have been patched. I crafted hundreds of items using Letty and not a single accessory factor increase. Not a single one. Lots of amor factor increases. In fact, I also don’t see Fol increases anymore.

Works perfectly especially at end game tower where you have most of these items. Quick question though, any idea how to get more SP once you're maxed level? I'm maxed at 255 with Leticia but maxed out her passives and all skills instead of smithery (to make her best swords) so now she's stuck at LV255 with 30 SP and level 1 smithery. If you follow this video just remember not to do overkill with your SP at first when you max out with Ray or Leticia. You'll have a ton of SP but still not infinite ;)
You need to use Nina and Compounding. There's a chance of her creating SP Seeds when you combine Game Meat and Secret Spice. The odds seem to be low though. Just save before you combine a bunch so you can reload if you don't get any.

This is helpful bbut one question. You said to buy the ring mail power ring and baumher or whatever the sword was called. Yet you never once said anything about the sword after buying it, so what are we supposed to do with the sword?
you can further stack the exp multiplier by surprise attack bonus factor, need surprise attack though and more effort to get the factors. But multiply the result also :)
Perfect spot for it is also the Lavaman in Nihlbeth. Can be surprised attacked stupidly easy and even with half-assed accessories that aren't minmaxed you can get over 2m exp per kill. Gained over 70 levels the first kill, which dropped off until it tapered off and I shot to 255 from 241.

I'm not sure how far in I am, but I just got Laeticia back. I was able to do this except I couldn't get any 135% factors. Best I got was 125%. Still works great though. The rest of the story is about to be a cake walk. Not that it wasn't already, but still lol

So synthesis is its own system, you get factors from crafting/smithy ect, synthesis is just for moving them around, it doesnt generate new factors. hence why i explain about mass crafting in this video to get the factors to start with.

yea pretty much, when you "shuffle synthesis" it basicly takes all the factors between the 2 items and picks 4 factors to put on the "base" locking just means they stay 100%, so instead of choosing 4 from 8 factors, it chooses 2 from 6 ect
Now the real test is how much damage will you do if you stack 8 Point blank damage with the amor the 4 Accessory Factor. Or 8 6% on heal with the chest.

Well my problem is that i only unlocked this after i lost all party members an now i got most of them back expt letica so ye i cant even start this an i was goin t do this to level up for the fight to get her back....... i hate how crap the craftin is in this game it was so hard to find i went into the building early on bit no1 was i there an it was only when i was near end of game were i was like ok now ill go do all the side quests that i relaised you had to unlock it, i had evwry item for weltchs quests an just ran in an out of her house till id done every quest back to back
@@Primalliquid92 Not for me, I didn't get factors while running through but still the time it takes to make the exp boosting items is going to take an hour or so, thus 60 seconds only applies once you've made the gear through scum saving trial and error, then your correct lol

how are you guys getting the +135% exp? ive bought and used for crafting every cloth available at the paladurnia shop 10x over and havent gotten a single one. im using laeticia at lv 10 crafting. am i doing something wrong or does RNGeezus just hate me?
for anyone wondering, i just used the many +125% I got. they are more than suitable. it may have taken me 2 minutes in stead of just 1 per character to get them to 255 but it was still insanely fast

You get a couple of them early on and then you just get spammed with the rest in a short period.

There is a cap on accessories which is I believe is 60% The +48% to acessories factor. The same is probably said for the weapons and armor factors.

An hour later and I'm still trying to craft relevant items. This cannot be done from start to finish in 60 seconds. It's also mind-numbingly boring.

Exp traits ONLY work for the char they are equipped on, that's already tested

You could use a weapon that has an element that heals an enemy to get the combo count up really quickly AND kill the enemy quickly.

So just did some maths and if exp bonuses stack 4 135's is a 332% increase with a 60% boost it becomes 2176.78% exp boost

its not patched, its rng, that means you can ether get 50 factors in 10 minutes or none in 3 hours

take a look at my endgame equipment videos, the set up used in them allows you to decimate ultima thule with a single character in seconds

Do you know if this also works for item drop rate factors? And if it does does it just increase the chances of getting an item or can it also increase the number of items you get. i ask because if it does work that way it would make farming items for item creation a lot easier.
it just increases your chance to get drops, even with full drop equipment the amount wont change

Can you get those exp factors just randomly with synthesis? I haven't played yet, I sorta want to wait for a sale just to save money, but omg seeing this stuff makes me want to try so badly 😂
So synthesis is its own system, you get factors from crafting/smithy ect, synthesis is just for moving them around, it doesnt generate new factors. hence why i explain about mass crafting in this video to get the factors to start with.
@@Primalliquid92 ooooh okay I just remembered the locking factors and thought some factors change or transform too. So I can craft anything and it'll randomly gain an exp factor? I can tell there's gonna be a lot of saving and reloading lol
yea pretty much, when you "shuffle synthesis" it basicly takes all the factors between the 2 items and picks 4 factors to put on the "base" locking just means they stay 100%, so instead of choosing 4 from 8 factors, it chooses 2 from 6 ect
Im playing with 99999 SP and im only lv 5. Max lvl doesnt mean anything as i can one hit KO bosses with blind sides

Heads up folks, yes this works really well but Nina and Midas can’t equip the Ring Mail so you’ll have to find another armor piece to use
you can just synth any armor she can equip with the ring mail after

Well my problem is that i only unlocked this after i lost all party members an now i got most of them back expt letica so ye i cant even start this an i was goin t do this to level up for the fight to get her back....... i hate how crap the craftin is in this game it was so hard to find i went into the building early on bit no1 was i there an it was only when i was near end of game were i was like ok now ill go do all the side quests that i relaised you had to unlock it, i had evwry item for weltchs quests an just ran in an out of her house till id done every quest back to back

not if you get your factors while running through the game to unlock synthesis, so yes the process is still 60 seconds long
@@Primalliquid92 Not for me, I didn't get factors while running through but still the time it takes to make the exp boosting items is going to take an hour or so, thus 60 seconds only applies once you've made the gear through scum saving trial and error, then your correct lol

Where can I get a fire spirit talisman? That has 135% exp.?
how are you guys getting the +135% exp? ive bought and used for crafting every cloth available at the paladurnia shop 10x over and havent gotten a single one. im using laeticia at lv 10 crafting. am i doing something wrong or does RNGeezus just hate me?
for anyone wondering, i just used the many +125% I got. they are more than suitable. it may have taken me 2 minutes in stead of just 1 per character to get them to 255 but it was still insanely fast
