What da fuck happened to Yngwie? The band is in the corner and his volume level is way to high it sounds terrible. He is one of my heroes, I actually still learning from him, but this is just too much.
Its more like a bad cover version, its sad when there are guys like Kelly Simonz that actually does the songs justice. Yngwie was great back in the day and wrote some great songs like this one, but now its as if he doesnt care anymore, you can clearly hear that when he concentrates its sounds great, but he just seems to play around and try and act cool instead of playing the guitar most of the time, he always did a bit of that but still managed to play great, but now its like 80% random noise and kicking plectrums. Not to mention that the band gets 1/4 of the stage when Yngwie gets 3/4 (facepalm)
There are rumors that hopefully he will vanish the whole band behind a wall or something...oh, and that he will turn their volume down...not much, just a tiny bit, but don't worry you will be able to imagine them !!!!
Used to have so much admiration for the man. His playing was so full of fire and articulation - now the performances seem sloppy and just don't command attention the way they used to. Could be the lower budget for performances that is bringing the sound and stage show down. Certainly not what it was in the late 80's, or even how tight it was back in the Alcatraz days. Still love to listen to Trilogy or Rising Force - masterpieces.

Bit of a poor recording, the balance is completely off. Sounds like the man was having an off day. I've seen him many times, each time much better than this. I would still never give this a guy thumbs down though!
In the studio he is wonderful, but he leaves a lot to be desired live! It's a lot of freshness and waste of time, instead of playing right! And he still treats the band like mere employees who stay in a lonely corner of the stage!
I wish Yngwie would perform with a full band again.
