Hope this doesn’t come across negatively and completely understand the point regarding money and happiness. But, don’t you think it’s more related to the values that person has and not necessarily the size of their net worth. I take the point with the guy and the Louis Vuitton room, you said he was not happy and you know people with less money who are happier, but maybe it’s his values and personal life which are not aligned and not necessarily how much he is worth. Or, the guy who is pissed off that his 3 Michelin star steak was short of secret dust (😂), but maybe his values are off. My point being is, I hear a lot of successful people speak about money doesn’t not give you happiness, but maybe its more that they’re not necessarily holding the right values and things are not good personally which money can’t buy that are off. I am sure there is a lot of very successful people who are also very happy (most of the time), but we all have our down days. Anyway, love your content always Steve and will let you know in a couple more years if you can be very wealthy and also very happy (I think I’ll be good 😂)!

I completely disagree. She’s pointing out the absurdity of these nonsensical remarks and vapid sloganeering. No one is negating Steve, or any other successful person achievement. However, when these very same people start spouting vague and potentially dangerous advice to impressionable youth; then that’s when we’ve to challenge their rhetoric and demand they elaborate on their half baked philosophy. Nothing worse than rags-2-riches and the American obsession with porn hustle and porn perseverance that become so prevalent in the world. Those who are venturing into a biz endeavour aren’t easily influenced by these fluffy and vague biz quotes and podcasts. Chances are they are too busy working on whatever their endeavour is. So who’s left? Wantrepreneur whose mental image of a successful is sitting on a yacht sipping champagne and wearing the latest AP/RM Wrist. I’m ranting and going to stop here

I know it’s on a much smaller scale but that taught me so much.
Steven Bartlett is a very wise person and you can see that in the way he speaks
Love love listening to Steven and his insights. I honestly think he provides realistic insight into what happens when we reach the much coveted desired 'It' life
Nice to see you Steven. I watch you on Monday on your podcast. It is great to motivate people to question their lifestyle.
All the best 😊
I don;t comment alot, but these life-lessons are gold!
When he said “expectation is the curse of happiness” I had to stop the video and reevaluate my life
Preach Steven! I’m surprised more people don’t know about you but hopefully this platform will propel you more into the culture as you are the culture 🔥
Lin Mei you are an excellent interviewer and Steven Bartlett is one of the good guys.
Absolutely loved this conversation! Steve as usual dropping gem after gem and inspiring me so much.
Great seeing Steven on here 👏🏽
Great interview, props to the host/interviewer. She asked some really good questions. Wow, alot of food for thought. Enjoyed every minute! 🙌🏾
A brilliant interview. such a down to earth young man. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful views!
One of the best podcasts I have listened to in a long time!!
Go and watch his actual ones. All as good and better
@@adamdrakestudio Watched a few podcasts with him getting interviewed but as I said this is the best one I listened to in a long time
@@jordanflower183 my mistake. But you said podcasts. And he has his own, which is better than this.
Seeing this guys face around but never really knew what he did. This interview was incredible! Rate his achievements and also mindset 👏🏾
Shout out to man like pree market, growth stocks been getting battered bro, i keep enjoying picking up my favourite small caps at discount hehe

After watching this, you have for sure gained another subscriber. ThAnkhs, most insightful and inspiring.
Had never heard of him until now, but what a great story and perspective on life. Quality interview.
This was a long episode but worth every minute!
There are key gems that everyone can benefit from regardless.
I’m defo a fan!
Amazing Link Up TV. I sometimes can't always "digest" info for so long BUT this content was engaging without all the bells and whistles to excite my dopamine receptors. Well done and congratulations on your success. Be Blessed 👊
They got the wrong person to interview him. She holds a lot of personal issues herself!
I’m ranting and going to stop here
This was such a good interview!!
This was a great interview by the team at Linkup TV. Visions TV Online were one of the winners of the Lloyds Bank program 2021with Steven Bartlett. He gave great advice and is a great mentor. We are looking forward to seeing him on Dragons Den. Well done on the interview questions Lin Mei. 👌💥🔥
Once financially free, It is quite hard to find a bigger goal.. but when you do the happiness is in the journey. Never in the final destination.
Absolutely brilliant podcast again! The honest and rawness is incredible. Thank you James and Steven
I heard this speech on the diary of a CEO podcast hearing for the second time is really eye opening
The concept of this show is so necessary, thank you ❤️
Realistic convo.. Love from Zambia
Steven Bartlett is great. He schooled the mindset of the interviewer too. She's great at what she does but in this instance, she misunderstood a lot of his viewpoints, especially about healthy romantic relationships.
This was the most stimulating conversation I’ve watched in a while. Very insightful.
20 mins in and I am so glad I came across this! Loving this episode so far.
I work in recruitment and every time I make a big deal its followed by a massive anti climax. The feeling is honestly like “is that it??” and then the rabbit wheel repeats itself.
Great episode, and what Steven said is right heaving reasonable snd realistic expectations 🙌🏽
