  • This week, I looked into tooth pain with Fibromyalgia, how we know when it is Fibro related and when it is to do with your teeth. Why we get tooth or jaw pain and the other options which could be contributing to the pain. Hope you find it useful and see you next time.

    So spot on. Ongoing jaw, mouth tooth pain because of fibromyalgia for years - just another pain we have to deal with. Great advice as always

      I agree! I think this is great pain management for any issue. I have braces and this is so vital to do all these things as well as I clench my jaws at night.
      If you can drink Chamomile or Valerian root tea Nicky this will stop bad dreams and calm you down. I hope this helps! Thank you for the great tips!
      I have to go for surgery at the end of October for my thyroid to be taken out, so any stress relief tips I can get is great! ❤ Thank you as always 🎉

    Hi Nicky! Very interesting. I have frequent jaw pain. Your video reminded me of a crown I had done a couple of years ago. I went back to the dentist 3 times telling him I had pain. He thought I was mad. Another for the fibro list of joys!, xx

    Lost count of the times I went to the dentist to check on painful teeth and found out there was nothing wrong with them. At times ALL my teeth hurt; as if they had been filed 😣 No grinding at night so it's almost like a phantom pain but we all know it's due to fibro. Annoyed that very little literature talks about this issue. Only trigeminal neuralgia. And that's not what I have. I already suggested this here but saying it again: heating pads help a lot. If you combine them with a cream that "heats up" like say, muscle rub Tiger Balm, it enhances the heat and gives considerable relief. I gave up on regular pain killers (never worked) and had to go for the big guns : antidepressants... Thank you SO much for this video !!!! ❤️🙏🏻

      Do you mean heat patches like cura heat and you put tiger balm on them?

    • @analuisahering2043
      @analuisahering2043 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kittybell4604 kinda... I use a TigerBalm called muscle rub. It contains a topic painkiller besides the other ingredients like menthol, etc. I rub it where it hurts and then apply a hot pad/patch (I use the ones that have a gel inside and can be heated in the microwave). Not the ones that glue to the skin ! You see, the heat not only relaxes the muscles but it also facilitates the absorption of the medication through the skin

    • @analuisahering2043
      @analuisahering2043 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kittybell4604 they erased my reply... I use the cream on the face (jaw, temples, depending on where it hurts) before and then, apply the heating pads. My favorite is Tiger Balm muscle rub because it has a topic anesthetic. The heat helps the absorption into the skin too. For the teeth I discovered that flossing helps because with fibro, my gums tend to swell and press the teeth tighter together (at times even the tape won't get in between them !) So making some "room" between the teeth provides some relief...
