Prosperous New Year Dave! I have this pen, and it is so much prettier in person. The glitter factor never shows up as well in photos or video. That ink is really a nice match, it’s on my list for my next order.

I heard the pen is a little too toothy for most people. What is your experience with this pen?

Happy New Year. I would have to get a broad nib because to my eye that is barely a medium. But to each his own. Also the body material looks alot like Pelikan M205 Star Ruby. Just some observations and only my opinion.

Thank you for the review. Serious question: is there any difference, significant or otherwise, between this model and, say, my Chartres Blue model that I bought a year ago, other than the materials (body and trim) and price?
I believe it’s just the barrel material. However, I have two of the 3776 with medium nibs, one is the Chartres, the other LE Nice Lavende….and there is a slight difference between the nibs. Both are excellent, and maybe most people wouldn’t notice the difference, but it’s there.
Since it’s a gold nib pen, what is your concern about leaving IG ink in the pen for longer than a few weeks? Nice review, BTW.
I would not recommend leaving this ink in a pen for an extended period of time.
Mostly impressed with that ink. What does it look like after a day or a week?

Beauty is obviously in the eye of the beholder. The pen is just not my cup of tea. The ink on the other hand is stunning!
