I've got an old Edelbrock Torker on my 10:5 to 1 68 Cougar at the moment, was ported to match the heads back in the 80s by the wizard who built the engine back then, was 13:1, 640 roller pulled up to 9000 easy, I detuned it yrs ago but think I'll put the boss block back together, all the porting makes a huge difference, can see the valves, the throat of the intake also needs to be opened up, helps ALOT, also had my 650 cfmd to a 750 feels like fuel injection
With all your mods so far sounds like you will make it to 600hp. Job well done to you and your boy. Your oil restrictor mods to help the top-end will be a big help your mains are going to love too. Even my 331 stroker would run the 7 QT. pan dry with High Volume ended up going back to the stock pump and it lives well now... ...Can't wait to what else you have in that bag of tricks.
@ 12:08 what you wanted to do was adjust the length of the runners to be more equally matched. Those corners that you're smacking with your screw driver are where you'd make a change in runner length... And round over any and all of the runner dividers. It all boils down to a single cylinder engine. Make it efficient.
What happened to Blue Oval Dude? I hope that he hasn't turned into LS SWAP DUDE 😂 😅 . You was doing so good with your TH-cam channel.. do u have any Cleveland heads, they don't have to be perfect, just wanting to build a clevor later this fall
@79beans347 Ooh no,never!! Lol . Blue oval dude is working hard to get more balance. No time to even work on my zephyr 😫 haha. I keep telling myself I'll have time soon. Anway I only have some 2v's and a pair of 302c heads

Use studs on the heads and the intake will lower perfectly into position
It does help, but the intake can still move..060-.080 front to back.
