When you have almost half of your lineup hitting below the Mendoza line, that is a problem. I will give a pass to Morel and Siri because of their power numbers. But DeLuca, Walls, and Jackson, not so much. Hopefully, this will be addressed before next season because you are not going to be a playoff, let alone World Series team with those type of numbers. Regardless of how good the pitching is or could be.
My favorite Rays Trinity! Good stuff, guys! Always keep hope alive because Junior could catch fire, Morel could pick it up. A lot of things could start breaking right, but don't expect it. Timely would go further than good hitting right now, but the deadline deals are aimed at tomorrow, not today, so this shouldn't be a surprise or much of a disappointment. Santander does stand out as a target because of his OF/1B/DH versatility and the pop he offers that we've been lacking in those positions but there's not many big fish we should checking in with.
Cannot believe I am saying this, but the A's (on the field) are actually not all that bad. If they can keep their team intact, develop their starting pitchers, and supplement their lockdown closer, Mason Miller, they might actually be in the mix for a wild card as quickly as next season.
@@codyrobins19 The guy I am most amazed with is Brent Rooker. He did nothing for the first three years of his career with first Minnesota and then Kansas City. He comes to Oakland last year and these last two seasons he has hit 30+ homeruns.
Thank you for reading my comment and sorry for the run-on sentence. I do agree with Evan us fans don't really put together the strength of schedule is a big part why they sold so hard at the trade deadline. But I do disagree I don't think Moral is carrying this team to a world series like Randy did years ago and my whole point was how well the Rays were playing right before they sold 3 of their better players despite that one rangers sweep they had won a bunch series in row. Maybe just maybe they were on the right path before the trade deadline and the front office decided let's take the wind out of those sails. But with the strength of schedule I understand it but don't agree. Personally I think this offense was slightly better before the trade deadline is what most fans point. You don't think there's a chance the rest of the team that remains thinks hey the front office just gave up on us? Well thank you again and nice job. 17:17

Pretty sad that I'm watching the A's wishing we had almost every player in their line up... their worst average was like .198

@@Elephant2024-wi2li Ya they have a lot of raw talent. Once their pitchers have better control and the hitters have more experience they coul be good

What was that altercation goin on between yandy and caminero about?
this was recorded before the game but I'm sure he said something about missing the ball at first base to Yandy and then he got mad
@@codyrobins19 I see.
