The Jets FINALLY Made *GOOD* Changes!

- The Winnipeg Jets snapped their 6 game losing streak after making changes to their lineup. many of these lineup changes were ones that fans had wanted to see for a longggg time, and they worked. With these lines, can the Jets go on a long playoff run?

I think they need to prove to us they’re the team we think they are. Let’s see 2-3 more wins. Then I’ll feel better come playoffs
The third goal by the Kings woke the boys up. They were so slow on the puck, not forcing the play. After the goal that gave the Kings their first lead of the game, I saw a change in the Jets intensity.
When the Jets' best players bring a consistent effort for multiple games, then I'll believe they may be back.
@JetsHub one game and everything is sunshine and rainbows, yeah i'm not buying into it yet. What is great is having Vilardi back and healthy again. When Tiffoli returns he needs to be on that number 1 line along with Scheifele/Vilardi. That second line maybe give them a bit more time together something magical happened that night and move Ehlers around.
fetts was also directly responsable for 2 goals against, so he still needs ALOT of work to be a top 6 player.

The line changes worked and hopefully they stick with the top 2 lines. Toffoli could play on the 3rd line or Monahan could, either way should work. I’m glad Brossoit got some action and realistically he could play against Calgary as they’re not playing well.
But hey, win or lose our way into the Pacific, the main thing is stay healthy, and be ready to to unleash in the playoffs. This is WHY Appleton could be on the 4th line. That will be the best 4th line in the NHL I think, in terms of guys in their primes actively playing, compared.
Need to keep these changes
I'm glad they finally made changes, but it really shouldnt have taken this long. It took a 14-14-2 record over the past 2 months and a 6-game losing streak to finally make a change. That is not acceptable, and has cost them a chance at winning the division.
And Pionk still needs to be in the press box. He was not any better, playing up with JMo.

At least they scored some goals....which they havent done for quite awhile.........Theyre goal scorers have got to step up...now !

I’m feeling cautiously optimistic
Don’t have any faith in the Jets going anywhere until Pionk is on the forth defensive line or pulled completely. Why don’t they try Miller and Morrissey on the top line. That could be a deadly shooting combo. Or just move Samberg up to the top as he is clearly our second best defensemen. I don’t know what games Bonus has been watching all year when he clearly doesn’t know what his top lines and top defenders are yet.
Pionk is a damn good defenseman… He makes the odd mistake just like everybody else… Quit ragging on him already!
I've been telling myself that the coaches were sandbagging by keeping these lines apart. Keep scouting to a minimum, then use as needed in playoffs. Just copium, probably.
I wouldn't say the jets are back. Although they seem to be a better team then before, they still have brutal starts and have shown that their dmen aren't that good. The stretch of games has shown weakness. They are making too many mistakes cannot seem to lock it down. They shouldn't be trying to find themselves now other teams are locking in. Their PP and PK are brutal, no net presence to get dirty goals (with exception to last game) Pionk, Schmidt and demelo can't handle the big forwards from other teams
maybe try Pionk on third defense pair?
Or just make him a healthy scratch. He is not helping the team right now.
Maybe there saving it all for the playoffs
I'm not very hopeful, they got a lot to fix in their game, defensively, and offensively if they're even gonna get past the first round yet alone go on a deep run. The LA game wasn't too convincing in my opinion, still a lot of mistakes in that game.

I don’t see why they should bench P, Last game he was playing very good, Few nice checks and a lucky hipcheck

@@LBHRamHe has not been good for the past month. Constant turnovers and defensive miscues. Even playing up with JMo didn't help. It's pathetic that he hasn't been scratched, but Samberg, who has been the team's third best D-man this season, has been, for no reason.

Schmidt almost cost us the game in the 3rd period again, why is he still playing? I wish I time stamped it.
