Playlists are basically folders where you can add videos with similar topics or niches.

TikTok is the king of gatekeeping. They make it so difficult for creators. A playlist shouldn't be a special feature

This should be available to smaller creators, I also think that it would help grow our followings so that people can see the videos that they’re interested in all at once

I agree one of my series has gotten a lot of attention yesterday and I wanted to make a playlist with the other videos from the series for everyone who's asking me to do more of the same type of content
If anything they're probably trying to get people to opt into the profile boost thing where you pay them $20 and they give you more views or followers or likes or whatever. So if you buy into tiktok enough you get these features as "perks". Basically like how Spotify removed features from the free platform and then moved them to the paid platform as "premium features"

Honestly, TikTok needs to make its platform far more accessible to its content creators...I only have 30k following but close to 1million likes. I have an educational channel so having the ability to sort things into a Playlist would be EXTRA useful not only for me...but for my followers.
Oh well.....leave it to TikTok to make things annoying and fustrating!

Yo! Wassup we have the same amount of followers and likes, I have a question. Are you in Creator fund? If so, did you notice your views go down after joining? Ever since I joined, I haven’t had a video explode with views and likes as compared to when I wasn’t in creator fund. Thanks :)

The video said you need a certain amount of followers do that option to be activated but it does specify how many I know a tik toker tho who has 181.1k followers and they have that option at the moment.
@@Peculiarlyquirky I've heard from one guy that he has the option for playlists and he's only got 390 followers. Makes me hopeful cuz right now I'm only at 230 but playlists would be nice cuz I do let's plays of video games and I would love the future when I finally get it

thanks. for those who wonder how to save video files according to your choice playlist, you can create in the collection tab, next to the save videos playlist tab. you can find your save hashtag in the same collection tab. importantly, you can access and create it only on your phone, not on PC.
I really hate how tiktok treats small creators like trash and only treat big creators like they’re trophies smh.

There's a dude on Reddit that says that he has the option and he only has 390 followers, so if it's available for somebody with that few I'm thinking that it's just available at random for now. It stinks, I can't wait till they just give it to everybody. Playlists would greatly improve my channel 🤣

No it isn’t, I have seen someone that has lower followers and likes than me get it first, I’ve tried a vpn and such but it didn’t work.

That's extremely shitty and elitist if TikTok to limit the number of people who can make playlists. I only have 700 followers but people have been consistently watching my Moon Knight videos in the thousands

You need about 10k followers to be able to make playlists
Just go press the 3 line bar at your right hand corner. You can see the creator tools. Just press it then scroll up you can see more tools just swap to your left you can see playlist .just click that can create your own playlist ready

This feature became available to me at 15k followers on one of my pages while another page of mine is at 21.8k and doesn't have this feature. I guess they pick and choose which pages receive the playlist feature...

After reaching 10K followers, Tik Tok gives the option of playlist, I just got it now
