    Love these chill Harli videos. I don't think i'd ever leave the grow tent lol! One plant I have that everyone is shocked when i show it is my Piggyback Plant (tolmiea menziesii). It's just SO NEAT how it grows babies!!!

    You briefly showed your aglaonema anyamanee tri-color in a previous video and it was my first time seeing it. I fell in love!. I bought 2 babies and they are growing in humidity domes. Can’t wait til they mature.
    I have a syngonium ribbon and it’s super cute. It’s always throwing out a new leaf. You’re the first person I’ve heard mention it. It gets no love lol.

    I know you probably don't love that you feel 'out of the loop' but I kind of love it! I find you are always recommending different plants that I don't see others talking about, whereas a lot of other creators I find repeating plants. Obviously, someone's gotta talk about those plants too, but I love that I can come to your videos and know I'm going to see a variety of plants that you can tell you genuinely enjoy regardless of the hype. 💚

    Yes pot the hoya together. I was thinking that exact same thing. They are so cute next to each other.

    I just got the (outside variegated) Hoya Bella, it's Anneke Buis. The inside variation is my "holy grail" plant and I'll get that one next, it is Lida Buis. Both named after the creators daughters (pretty cool!). So yes, plant the sisters together!

  • @lisasosa20
    @lisasosa20 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    What I like about these videos is even if I've heard of some plants you've shown, it's more like a reminder. There are a million and one plants out there (most of what I wish I had) and always new ones coming out (variegated, mottled, mooned, auried, you name it!). After getting lost in all the new plants sometimes I forget about ones I heard of month ago that I really liked and forgot about. It helps me go back through and take inventory of the plants I really really want and the plants I was just excited about bc someone had the new thing ❤️ Keep the videos coming, even the ones you think no one really cares about. Live your content girl 🤗

    I love these videos about lesser known species. Some I knew and some I didn’t! That aglaonema was new to me. Very pretty. It reminds me of a caladium, but would probably be way easier to care for than caladium! My favorite lesser known plant, also with pink, is the Impatiens Morsei. The petioles are hot pink and the leaves are a dark green with a center stripe of hot pink. It’s one I would keep in my collection if I really had to downsize.

    Some plants I've been discovering in 2021 are episcias, they're in the same family as african violets, and they're very underrated, some of them (i don't know if they all do) trail, in the same manner as spider plants.
    Also, I discovered that when scidspuses climb (like scindapsus argyraeus and such) they have a really cool pattern

    I have peperomia cubensis that i almost never see in videos, but it's one of my faves! Red stems, trailing, with glossy small-ish green leaves, propagates by cuttings crazy fast, tolerates almost any light conditions, extremely forgiving, and almost unkillable! I have bunches of this plant growing in all sorts places in my home, as a kind of visual palate soother between other more showy plants :)
    Thanks for this video! I loved it!

  • @fulcrum8108
    @fulcrum8108 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    an interesting plant i've recently found is a philodendron grazielae. its got these big heart shaped leaves, more pronounced than the heartleaf philo (they almost remind me of green bell peppers) and they grow from a very thick vine on petioles almost like those on a silver sword. the most fascinating thing about it is that under each leaf lives a new growth point (would that be a node?) that from my experience can activate at any time, whether the leaf the new growth point lives under has been removed or not. i found mine in a hanging basket at walmart of all places, and it is just the funkiest plant.

    The Standleyana Albo Was One Of The Plants I Decided To Pay A Little More To Get Myself During The Holidays. The Plant Farm Had The Aurea... BUT Didn't Have The Albo At That Time. I Asked Them What Was The Difference And They Told Me It Had The Yellow Coloring Instead Of The White. IT Seems The Introduction Of The Aurea Has Brought Down The Price Of The Albo... SO Thank You Aurea... I Found 2 Albos Already Growing In 4 Inch Pots For Around $30 Each!!! I ALSO Found A Syngonium Three Kings Growing In Spagnum Moss For Around $30 TOO!!! HE'S A Lanky Fellow With Big Leaves SO I Put A Bamboo Stake In His Cup And He's Growing-Up Fine!!!

      That is a really pretty plant. How wonderful that you now have your mom’s plant to continue her memory. The one thing I wish I would have gotten from my mom when she passed was her huge Hoya plant. I’ve since bought a similar Hoya but it’s not quite the same sentimental value as you have with your purple passion plant.

    Gynura aurantiaca.
    it's just super neat.
    Not expensive either.
    I's super soft and hairy. It's good as a hanging plant. Propagates well (though rotting is an issue because of the hairs), easy care (though it's pretty thirsty and you have keep an eye out for mealy bugs)...AND IT'S **PURPLE**.

    Pay attention to new tags from big box stores... Some new varieties are "patented" and say right on the tag "propagating prohibited"... They can't stop you at home ✂️✂️ but selling could put your shop at risk.
