This finale was intense. Casey with the Homeland Security investigation, Brett adopting the baby, Mouch getting shot. One of the best!

Matt Casey tells Lt Stella Kidd, Sam Carver and Blake Gallo what to do in order stop the snipers to flank the truck and jump him as soon as the next gunshot got fired

The writers just love making us all suffer through the characters. I hope Mouch pulls through. Sometimes I wonder what life would've been like for Shay if she lived. Also at first,I thought Mouch was having another heart attack when the camera cut to him.

What's crazy is that Trudy is in the hospital too. But she doesn't even know that Mouch has been shot at all. All Trudy is worried about is Adam Ruzek right now..
She knew. Someone said later in the episode that Trudy was with him. We also don't know the timeline for each finale. They could have happened a few weeks apart.
If Adam and Mouch both die I done know how Trudy will recover from losing two people great people in her life. Will Trudy be the next to leave the show after this?

@@eva4721 Trudy isn't there as a patient, just as a visitor. Adam and Mouch both got shot on their shows (different events) and she visited both while they were in the hospital.

Shay, Otis, Mouch .... 3 that are universally loved by everyone, and all 3 deaths (assuming mouch meets his maker) would hit everyone very hard,

The psychic did tell Hermann he will feel more pain than he has ever felt before which could mean the loss of his dear friend Mouch. Or perhaps she got the two mixed up and meant Mouch would feel more pain than he ever did before. Hope Mouch lives! Wouldn't be the same without him sitting on that couch.

When Lt Stella Kidd told deputy district chief Wallace Boden they were still breathing, one of the Chicago police officers was arresting one of the shooters for attacking power transformers and Mouch had no idea he got wounded by a sniper's gunfire either, and this broke my heart completely when Mouch got hit!

I realised very quickly that Mouch was the same guy from Law Abiding Citizen when I started watching Chicago Fire, I didn't think I'd fall in love with the character as much as I have. Needless to say that he's much more likable in this and I gotta see where this ends up.

This was the worst cliffhanger ever. When the episode ended we’re left thinking Mouch was going to die only for him to come back miraculously healed as if nothing happened. It was at that point I decided I was done with One Chicago all together. I’m not going to be baited into keep watching these seemingly never ending shows.
