Thank you for the video, it was a pleasant watch.
At 30:00 I do not think you should warp the light. Light travels visually in a straight line in regular air, so the bend on it looks a bit odd. But I like the rest of the method of how you did the light effect.
Though, in the end you removed so much of the light's length that it did not really matter at all and still turned out great!
