What other filmmaking concepts would you like to learn more about?
Always looking for more filming techniques. Slow-mo!
Well, I always had a problem with soundtrack! 😭
Shooting with extreme amounts of light - either insufficient or quite the opposite. I mean night shots, inside shots with artificial (and not great) lighting, cloudy day shots etc. What's the best way here without using external sources of light?
I like this a lot. Thanks Kellan.
Anything related to sounds
i’m not a professional photographer, but all this time i have been unintentionally using those techniques. It just comes naturally when a photo feels right.
Ikr
Suddenly i fell jealous of your natural affinity towards taking picture
True that!
True
Most important rules of all, break the rules
Follow what feels right
SAMME
i remember my dad telling me about rule of thirds when i was like 12 and it’s really one of coolest rules
us moment
Key takeaways from the video:
1. Rule of thirds (basic and an important rule.)
2. Leading lines
3. Balance the frame (balance the frame by adding something in the negative space)
4. Symmetry
5. Depth in subject (by opening up the aperture)
6. Frame within a frame (find a creative way to add an additional frame)
7. Emphasise your subject (use the above mention rules together)
thank you jotting down the key points.
Thanks 😊

Thank you for this brilliant video. Can you make a video in which different types of shooting techniques and an apt usage for the same in effective storytelling is explained. I mean how and where to use a time-lapse, a drone shot, a macro shot, a slow motion effectively to elevate the emotional experience of the viewer.
