@@eon1014 First off, regardless of how he _meant_ to throw his first Poke Ball, it still hit the target. Ash can't say that.
Second, he spent the next episode improving his aim while catching one of every Bug-Type in Kanto. And now, if we should harp on anything, it's that he throws _too many_ of them.
