The ship name uses both of their japanese names. Satoshi instead of Ash, and Gou instead of Goh. The reason for this is simply that most pairings use the original (in this case japanese) names, or the japanses pronunciation of the names, like AkuRoku for Axel and Roxas in kingdom hearts (I think Axel is pronounced Akushu or Akuru with Roxas being Rokusu) or have a unique name made up for them, like RivalShipping which is either Ash and Garry or Red and Green. (Speaking of Green, Green is the name for the boy, Blue is the girl, in the pokemon special manga and comics Green had a Squirtel and Blue had a Bulbasaur so the English mangment team changed the names around, but then Green and Blue traded Pokemon so the change was made redundant, or at least that's what I read) Sorry about the long winded reply - especially since it's eight months after your post - but I only just came across this video and your comment, and thought I'd let you know my thoughts on the pairing name in case you were still wondering. 😄
