Love, Love, Love, those adorable Sunflowers you made. Can’t believe I missed this video. I just finished watching the one you did with the stool n shutter. Told myself I’ve got to find the video for the flowers n son of gun it was right there. These are so simple to make. I know I’m gonna spend a day making a bunch of them. Thanks so much Sandy showing me how easy it will be. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
@@sandyscountrycrafts They sure are cute you’re right easy to make. I just finished up making my stain for all the cloth I bought. Saved up some stain in a spray bottle so I can spray them when finished. ♥️😊👍
I'm so glad you didn't have any greenery. You didn't need it. What you came up was perfect for primitive sunflowers. I have been trying to decide what to put on my front door. Now I know and I think my grandkids could even help which will thrill them. I love the things you come up with and will definitely make the flowers. I made a couple a while back as bowl fillers.
Quicker to put sunflowers into oven to dry. I usually used muslin fabric and paint centers and petals then stain with coffee cinnamin grunge mix and place back in oven. Have a nice fragrance. Enjoyed your DIY
I love love love the sunflowers I didn't catch how you made the two-layer stand-up I guess you use fabric glue and glue them up to make them the pulling apart so they would look like a layered
Thank you Dorothy! I put the cinnamon mixture on the flower then separated the top from the bottom layer and used a heat gun to dry it and kept separating them as they dried. Hope I explained it well enough to understand.
Sandy you are always so inspiring to me....if it wasn't so late here I would be running out to my little "trailer" studio and make me some Sunflowers. Can I share my creation with you when I finish them?
@@sandyscountrycrafts will do when I finish...I was so excited to get started but then had company all day...finally managed to do three flowers tonight but the are still drying. I will send you a picture and THANKS so much for the share.
Here is where I bought the fabric. You can also get it at Hobby Lobby and sometimes at Walmart. jubileefabric.com/primitive-black-2-homespun-cotton-fabric.html
