Gah! The terrarium and base....I love it so much! I admit, I was hoping you wouldn't paint those amazing chippy legs, but what a beautiful project. Next, the book....I'm definitely going to do that. I have quite a few vintage books I want to makeover. So creative, turning it into a vase.
Thank you so much 😀 I hated to paint over it too but it was flaking so much and I was worried about the lead paint. I didn’t know how well I could make it be cohesive with the rest of the wood pieces so I just opted to paint the entire thing. It's a tragedy I know.😁

@@tamigarcia2219 It's a 16 guage Ryobi cordless nail gun I purchased from Home Depot. I've had it for several years and I paid less than $200 for the tool and battery pack. I'm not sure what the price is today because the battery pack and chargers seem to be more expensive than the tool itself anymore.😁 I don't have any affiliate links for any of the products I use so you can purchase them from wherever you can get the best price. Thanks!

Hello Regina, in this video I only put the air dry clay on the book cover and spine. The can is covered with book pages that were glued on.

How many pages did you divide the book for the can total❤❤❤
I took maybe 1/3 or less of the total book pages out. It probably doesn’t matter if you take less out. I would just remove however many pages that will let your book stay open easier with the can in place is how I did it.
Do you sell your crafts?
At the moment I do not. I just make things for myself and family.
Why the bag of popcorn? very good ideas.
Thank you! Since I added the moulds to the book cover it sits unlevel on my table so the bag of popcorn is being used to level it out underneath.Less rocking when I added the transfers. I hope that makes sense.
The question is - to rescue or not? You rescued the small brass plates and created something new. No one else rescued them and I can't say they were worth anything unless you took them to scrap metal or they ended up in the landfill! So people need to stop with their opinions. You know the old saying, opinions are like buttholes!

too much time and work for end project
It didn’t take a lot of time and I love the end result. It's for my own personal decor.
Book/vase is totally impractical and a waste of time...the table is bulky and looks like it would easily topple over.....for all the time put into your projects I would think you could come up with something better..truth be told.
Well to each his own. Perhaps this channel is not for you. I'm making these projects for my own home and they are actually working out quite well. I could also say your comment is impractical and a waste of time, but if it helps you get on with your day to get that off your chest I'm glad I could help.
