Glad to help. When you asked about it, I had the thought that this might need my personal take on it. We started running escs like this with the 250g speed planes because normal fixed wing escs just cannot keep up with the newer outrunners which use lots of poles and very tight magnet spacing.

Yeah, a Tee Dee. They have enough power to demand respect, and stuck glow wires will screw you up fast.

But it wouldn’t matter if your receiver could take 7.4v and your only using a 2s am i right? You could just piggy pack the positive back the the 3 prong plug right?
Correct, but you also want to check servo voltage limits. If all are capable of handling full battery voltage you're good to go.
Where can I get a soldier assist like that, I have one with the alligator clips, I hate it.
Unfortunately I don't have the slightest idea. It came from an estate.

@@timmorel79 lol! Actually hurt substantially less than having the plane absolutely plaster itself 6 seconds later, tearing the venturi right out of its housing and snapping an out of production engine mount!
No need to explain marks like that. Unless you're a manatee, there's only one main suspect, and COX is at the top of the list!

Sorry to see your finger. It looks rather angry. I do have several mounts for 1/2As one is a tank mount and the other is a glass filled composite. Keep your finger away from those props.
Merely a flesh wound! Really though, the plane taking a core sample of the earth a few seconds later was a much worse event. Ive got a different style of glow clip on order that hopefully will behave better than the ~40 yr old pitiful thing that led to that event (well, had nothing to do with the crash).
