But Vangelis is alive and well. He has not died. This video falsely gives the impression that he did. That's confusing.

Please look at the video again. The video says Vangelis is alive but the first Saturday after his death was announced a requiem mass will be held for his soul.

And yet you keep referring to "his death was announced". Past tense....
Maybe it's just poor use of language. However, while I don't know about your culture, in mine it is considered tasteless to publicly plan someone's requiem when he is still alive and well.
