I'd never have guessed that Madeline Murray O'Hair, hadn't been murdered by the time of this show! Some of these shows, should really be replayed in prime time! Imagine the kids today, consuming a diet of education in their spare time, as we did?!! Topics we should all revisit! As relevant today, as back in the day! Thanks for the insight, education Phil, we owe you a huge debt of gratitude! RIP Phil Donahue! You will be missed! ..🤘💖

Phil Donahue’s far exceeded the land of America. I remember before the days of cable\pay TV and watching the Donahue show from my parents lounge room in Sydney Australia. As a kid I never realised I was getting an education or a life lesson watching the Donahue show
    RIP legend

The last of the good guys? I love you Phil. Thank you for the intelligent interviews we could always count on. And you made them entertaining and sometimes funny. I wish I could go with you. My time is almost up here. Put in a good word? No one, not one, came close to the man you are and all you gave. Thank you.❤

My god!! I just found out that the great and one and only Phil Donahue died two weeks ago! This show popped up on my feed and when I went to 'Comments' to check it out, everyone's saying RIP!!! Then I said WTF! I'm so sadded and heartbroken and shocked. What will we do without him? Poor Marlo! What will she do without him?! He is so loved. I know that the suitcase he took with him was overflowed with
    😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Watching this made me realize how much I enjoyed him. I watched it everyday! I really wish I could still see his show!
One sad note- most of the people who were featured are dead! And the fashion, which I absolutely wore was hideous. What were we thinking?

So cool. Thanks for sharing this! I enjoyed the old Donahue episodes a lot. He had some great (and controversial) topics and guests.
I was actually born the very same morning that Donahue first aired back in '67, so this special back then was my 25th anniversary too. :-)

Watching the racism section on the night that Kamala Harris, a black woman, accepted, at the last night of the DNC, the nomination for President of the United States. She was dynamic. I hope she wins-because she is who she is, not just because I don't want the person who is running against her (i.e. the criminal who is running against her) to win.

I don't like that woman who said, "We've bent over backwards (for blacks)." What an insensitive thing to say
Do you think anything you do will compensate for ensalving a human being, or linching and hanging another human being? There will always be pain & resentment. You would still feel pain & resentment if someone had done that to someone you loved - IF you have ENPATHY for fellow human beings.
