~ There isn't any blood in any of these sausages. The color is from the seasoning and the flavor and tenderness of all their meats is truly that amazing.
Do you know why Food is so great and brings people together to share special moments. If I took you two guys to Texas, my family and your family to eat that barbecue, we’d all be smiling for a few hours.
The sausage is made out of beef in most Texas Bbq restaurants. When they trim the brisket before smoking it, they use those trimmed scraps to make the sausage. Seasoned and blended with jalapeño and sometimes cheese. It’s about not wasting any of the beef.
A tip I learned to make sure you don't have dry chicken or turkey is to leave the meat in water with some seasonings. A wet brine as it's called. It adds flavor to the meat while making it moist.
Inshallah you are able to come to Texas and enjoy the halal barbecue there. Nothing like an amazing barbecue where no sauce is needed. Bestest thing in the world.
@@HABIBIBROTHERS1 There's an Egyptian place in Austin that cooks their meat Texas Style. KG BBQ.. pit master moved to Texas from Cairo and learned from some of the best. Has a Smoked lamb shoulder with pomegranate BBQ sauce that's fantastic.
When we visited England we were amazed at how bland their food was. And the BEANS! Beans all over the place! But I would say it's because we in the USA are so used to such a variety of tastes & spices blended together in everything we eat! We had trouble even finding common ground black pepper in England. So I can understand that the flavors they're experiencing are amazing to them. 😊
The red coloring is from being cooked by smoking the meat for hours and hours. There's even a name for it. It's called the "smoke ring". Trust me... there's no way that there's any raw or undercooked meat being served at a BBQ restaurant. Definitely not at Terry Black's. The red in the beef sausages is from the seasonings. They're also cooked thoroughly. The process of slow smoking meats for many hours, is what gives them their extremely tender and juicy taste and texture. There's no pork in any of the items this couple chose. In fact, the only pork item on Terry Black's menu is baby back ribs and they only added them because customers were so used to pork ribs, they kept asking for them. The state of Texas is all about beef, with acres and acres of cattle ranches. Pork BBQ is more popular in other regions of the US. You'd have to check with the restaurant, but I would think that they'd have separate smokers for the pork ribs, because I assume that they have plenty of customers who keep Kosher.
the thing about true BBQ is it can take up to 16+ hours depending on what you are cooking but you can almost turn shoe leather into liquid meat(this is just and example)
As long as it's all beef, or all turkey/all chicken, it should be halal unless there is some cooking restrictions I'm not aware of... it's all fully cooked, no blood. Juices, but clear juices so should, I think be all good. (Good as in in line w/your religion's restrictions.) You two should check out when they went to the ORIGINAL Blacks, just search "Blacks BBQ" I ate there hen I was 12 in 1978 and still remember it. Never had Terry Blacks, but they made the Nephews not use just Blacks, since they didn't want any confusion regarding it being JUST the exact same everything. The Nephews have changed some of the methods etc... but even 'ok' BBQ is pretty damn good. But the Original Blacks for certain is 'crazy good'. Same couple, original Blacks founded in 1932. Please, check it out. Terry Blacks is still good, some of their food is the same as the Original, some isn't. Terry Blacks is just over priced & not quite as good as Blacks, but still damn good, and just has more hype. It's more touristy. Blacks is where the Texans go ;) Terry Blacks is where those who don't know any better go.
I’ve had Texas brisket . I’m from Michigan and smoke my own meats and they are comparable it just depends if you can get the same type of wood to smoke with. We can get any type in shops if it’s not a tree grown in your state. Like I get pecan and mesquite cause it’s not native to Michigan. . BBQ places are not as common here as it is in the south so I do my own. Cook it slow and low heat for 10-12 hours.
You guys can set up a small grill with what are charcoals easy but you need a small smoker buy one online they’re 50 bucks you don’t need a gas one you use wood or cold can you slow cooker
They're using plastic silver Ware By the way what looks like burnt Is the black from the smoke they cook with. The US has barbecues all across the country.
Check the internet for the North Texas halal barbecue competition in 2024 with “Grill for Gaza” theme. There are halal bbq pitmasters who have restaurants in Texas. I think one man is from Pakistan. There are videos about them too.
You can get halal meat in America. I had Halal meat in Iraq and I thought it tasted a little odd. I ended up only eating chicken and crab the rest of my time there. I had chai tea - which is so much different than in the states. I drank it so fast that even though it was very tasty, I threw it back up. A local Jordanian contractor cooked us a carp and we also had eggplant.
There are loads of kosher or halal bbq places in Texas and America that are just as good if not better than terry blacks. You’ll be able to experience these very American things and keep halal. Do you have a go fund me or some other way to raise money for a trip to the states? Many of us would gladly send money to help this happen. I love your videos and reactions.
12 hours cooking then they wrap it in butcher paper then cook for another few hours each brisket takes like 16 hrs yall can eat the beef you cant have the pork ribs but pretty sure you can eat the beef
You guys speak excellent English. One suggestion when coming to the U.S. because of the bigotry of some of our residents, you may not want to wear your keffiyeh or kufiyyeh but if you don’t mind then it is up to. Personally I like the way you guys dress in your traditional clothes. I was in the Army and was in Iraq and Afghanistan but I harbor no hatred or racism to Muslim people because I am not that way. My motto with other ethnicities is we all bleed red. Why hate your fellow man.
Nicola doesn't like whipped cream so she's not going to take a big spoonful to avoid the whipped cream, lol. FYI, yes the women i know would grab that beef rib with both hands and forget that knife and fork.
My late husband was from Wales and he loved blood pudding...a sausage type meat made with ox blood or beef blood. I never tried it....would NEVER have tried it. Never seen it in the US though
I ate some at Universal Orlando at 2 of the pubs in the Wizarding Wirld section. The Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron. I was apprehensive myself but it wasn't that bad. It's not something I would voluntarily eat again but it's edible if I had to eat it. Think you can find it at Renaissance Festivals too.
@@toodlescaethanks for the info, but no, thanks. Don't believe I will EVER go looking for it. So if it's in this country at all, it is places and events with a British flavor.
I cant imagine life without bacon. I dont wanna be a bad influence but bacon. Btw Texas needs to relax about BBQ i live in New Mexico and had better than Texas. Texas need to relax. Austin makes you look bad. No offense
I'm a vegetarian and watching this is making me sick. Why can't they just eat broccoli or asparagus or something healthy instead of all of that poison that they are putting into their body
Hahaha nice troll move... I am sure that you are aware that there are several essential amino acids found only in meat that humans need to sustain protein synthesis (i.e. life). It is why humans more easily digest meat than green vegetables. We are able to fully break down meat and turn it into energy. I'm not saying that we don't need to eat green vegetables, but they are more for cleaning out the digestive tract and not for the nutrition they provide.
Then don't watch. I have no problem if you want to just eat veggies so don't judge us for eating meat. You're never going to change people's minds on this subject. Just accept that we all disagree on what's healthy and what's not. 🤷♀️

Guys the big rib is a beef
The black on the meat is not blood. It's loads of seasonings that's rubbed on the meat and cooked slow for hours.
~ There isn't any blood in any of these sausages. The color is from the seasoning and the flavor and tenderness of all their meats is truly that amazing.
Correct! We do not leave blood in our sausages. The British eat blood sausage.
Dickey's BBQ at the White Rock Lake in Dallas Texas serves halal brisket 😊. I just googled it
The sausage is beef - it’s made from the brisket and rib trimmings
beef sausage is great. all the flavor is from the fats and seasonings. you can't mess it up.
Do you know why Food is so great and brings people together to share special moments. If I took you two guys to Texas, my family and your family to eat that barbecue, we’d all be smiling for a few hours.
Great BBQ like you get it in Texas you never need bbq sauce in my humble opinion.
Red is correct the coloring comes from the smoking process and the spices applied to the meat which is called the rub.

Agreed, but be certain to ask, as some may use some pork as well.
I honestly believe that we could negotiate an unconditional surrender of the UK with a pickup truck load of Texas barbecue 😂😂
If you google Halal barbeque in Texas it gives many locations complete with maps.
The creamy part of the potato salad is mayonaise.

In Texas it's all about the flavor of the meats, we use dry rub to enhance the flavor. In most other state it's about the sauce.
That meal probably cost them a couple hundred bucks
Just 2 weeks ago Terry Blacks opened up in Waco Texas!
That food looks delicious 🤤

Black pudding is surprisingly tasty! It doesn't have a weird taste like you would assume.
Peach cobbler is pretty easy to make, if you can get canned or fresh peaches. Pretty basic ingredients.
It is sauce, not blood
yeah BBQ sauce looks a dark/deep red because of the tomatoes and brown sugar, and sometimes chili powder put in it
They're using plastic silver Ware
By the way what looks like burnt
Is the black from the smoke they cook with. The US has barbecues all across the country.
In Spanish/hispanic/latino culture (im puerto rican and peruvian) we have morcilla.. it's a type of blood sausage..its AMAZING.

Banana pudding is cheap. You can buy it online and make it fresh at home is all you need is a coupl five day old bananas
Funny watching brits eating food that actually has taste!
Texas for sure knows how to cook a smoked meat
That takes 12 hours

I thought the same lol, clearly they’ve never seen country women
